OVERVIEW:

Timothy Drake was broken.

Even though he concealed it very well from his friends and family, deep down he was breaking apart and it was taking every ounce of will power in him to keep himself going.

Fortunately for him, his girlfriend Isadora was not blind to his slowly deteriorating state and wanted to help him out.

She was the only one he had confided into about what exactly had happened to him in that one year after he supposedly died. Hence, she was the only one who knew exactly what he was going through.

A lot had changed in between the two due to the dire circumstances they had to face when they were apart from each other but one thing was still constant; the two truly loved each other and couldn't see the other in pain.

So even if things were different, Dora wanted to make sure that Tim did not give in to the damage he had been suffering from and she wanted to do everything possible to pull him out of the mess he had fallen into.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

This is the sequel to the third book Sugar Rush | T. Drake and follows the story of Tim and Dora after all that happened in that book. It focuses on how the two managed to heal their relationship that had been damaged with Tim's disappearance for one long year and the fact that even though he returned, he was quite damaged himself.

The entire book focuses on dealing with trauma and overcoming the damage it creates. It also focuses on the fact that Tim's supposed death created cracks in their relationship which could truly never be mended but the two were still willing to work around it.

Through Tim and Dora's story, I want to elaborate that no relationship is perfect until or unless the people involved put in their efforts and make it perfect. I also want to emphasize that a lot can happen in life and the circumstances Tim went through were truly damaging but he was able to make through it due to the love and care provided by his friends and family.

If he hadn't received their love and care, it would be no surprise for him to fall apart completely. So this story focuses a lot on how Tim and Dora managed to pull themselves out of the aftereffects of that one year in which Tim had disappeared to take down NOWHERE so that his friends and family could be safe.
