OVERVIEW:
Rose Gibson had fallen in love once and fallen so hard that it was difficult for her to put herself back together after her first love was gone from her life. He was everything she ever wanted, perfect with all his little imperfections, everything she could ever wish for.
Unfortunately, his time was short and not long after he was gone from her life, he left the world as well joining the bright stars that twinkled on the sky watching down on their loved ones.
Rose tried to move on for he had always asked her not to compromise her own life for him, though he still remained in her heart for no one else could take that place.
But when she met Aaron Wood and began to draw comparisons between him and the memories locked up in her heart, she realized that maybe she was falling in love again. Only this time, she was scared to do so because her first time had not ended like she wanted. And it had left an uncertainty that the second time could be no different either.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
This is the first story of mine where both the main characters are OCs and the canon characters are secondary to the plot. The story is set in Metropolis but revolves around the two OCs Rose Gibson and Aaron Wood.
Similar to my fanfic Katana | R. Grayson, it deals with the themes of moving on after losing a loved one and embracing life afresh. In this story, there is little to no involvement of canon characters as it focuses entirely on the OCs.
Those who have read Sugarcoated Chillies | B. Gordon and Crushed Cigarettes | J. Todd would know a part of Rose's story before she came to Metropolis and this fanfic is based on her life after that.
I am very enthusiastic about working on this one too because it will give me the chance to write the kind of stories I always wanted to, breaking the norm of simply writing a love story but also focusing on healing and moving on.
