Amilia mixed the ingredients she was told to by Unora.

"Are you alright my dear?"

"Hm, yeah."

Amilia didn't take her eyes off of Unora. She continually watched her, Amilia was on alert. They hear something crash in another room. They both rushed out and to where they heard the noise.

"Ebaline, are you alright?"

"I-" she coughed. "I don't feel so good."

"Here." Unora said, helping her up. "Let's get you into bed."

"No, no, I'm alright." Ebi took her arm away from Unora and then turned back around.

"You should really lie down."

"I'm fine."

"Come on, Jacqueline." Amilia and her left the room and went back to what they were doing. Later that evening when Amilia was into spells, Unora fell to the ground.

"Ow, ow, ow." Amilia heard her mutter as she clenched her chest.

"Are you alright?"

"I just- I'm just very old. I don't have too long left, if you get my drift." Unora coughed a few times and then she stood up as if nothing happened. "Let's go ahead and get you into a room, my dear. Looks like you'll be spending the night with us." Unora showed her to a beautiful room. It was so big and nice. The bed was even huge. "Have a nice night, dear."

Amilia shook her head and smiled. Amilia hopped into the bed, but she wasn't tired. She tried to sleep, but a few hours later she decided to wander around the halls. She caught a quick glimpse of Unora and hid behind the wall. She was holding her chest again and was walking out into the main hall. Amilia decided to follow her and see what she was up to. Unora found her way to Ebi, so naturally Amilia thought she was checking on her because of the accident earlier.

"It is about time I cashed in on our deal, Ebaline." Ebi turned around to her with her hand on her head.

"What are you talking about?"

"I gave you your magic, and you now have to do something for me."

"What do you want, the magic back, a partner?"

"No." Unora put her hand up and a magic circle appeared around Ebi.

"What are you doing?"

"Your older brother is about gone by now, escaped the Council, and your younger one is going to be banished in just a few minutes."

"What?!?"

"You can do nothing to interfere. This is how the outcome has been." Unora had a circle appear underneath her as well. Then a bright light came from the room. When the light had vanished Ebi was gone and all that was left was Unora. But it was Unora that you and me know. She had all that outlandish armor on, and she looked much, much younger. Amilia heard her take a deep breath in and out. "It has begun." Amilia heard her say. "Now I have enough magic." She paused. "Now all I have to do is wait." Amilia saw her start to come up the stairs and quickly ran down the hallway and back to the room Unora had shown her to. She hopped onto the bed and pretended to sleep. Moments later Unora opened the door to the room, to check on her. Then she closed it and left. Amilia sat up after she had left. Amilia got up from the bed and went into the bathroom.

"There's no way." Amilia mumbled. She was shaking, she was terrified. She turned on the faucet and splashed herself with water, quite a few times. She looked up to the mirror and almost suddenly her reflection looked like Unora, with the roots of her hair the same color as Unora's, plus her eye color was black. She took a few steps back, heard her name faintly and then screamed as she fell from the tree. Something caught her though. She took her hands away from her face and realized that she was floating. Then, she hit the ground. She turned so she was sitting, she looked around.

"You could have killed me!"

"I saved you, you're the one who fell asleep in the tree!" Unora was standing there in the darkness of the forest. Then she walked out so Amilia could clearly see her.

"Stay away from me!" She screamed as she ran back from her. Unora stopped her with a freezing spell.

"What are you so worked up about?"

"You- Your evil! Plain evil!"

"Oh, dear, it's nothing like that."

"Really? Then what is it like?"

"It's vendetta, dear. Crystal clear vendetta." Unora undid the spell and Amilia fell to the ground. "Now." Unora started. "Here's my deal to you." Unora extended her hand. "You come back to work for me, just like you had been, and I will make it so none of this ever happened. Only you and I will remember this little chess game we played."

"No, no! NO!" She screamed. "I don't care if it's vendetta! It's still not justified, I will never go back to you!"

"Fine, but I already have your queen, all I need is the king in check, and then it's checkmate." Unora turned and then left as if she were never there. Amilia got up and ran back to the house. She slammed the door shut and ran to her room. She was still shaking from what she saw. When she went into the bathroom she saw nothing but her own reflection, checking her roots and eyes very closely. She slid down the bathroom door and held herself, still she shook.
