Amilia came through the door the next morning. She went upstairs and knocked on the bedroom door. Then she walked into the room. Cristel looked up and over to the door. Once she realized it was Amilia she stood up, walked over, and gave her a hug.
"Oh Amilia, i was so worried. I'm glad you're alright." Cristel cupped her hand to Amilia's cheek.
"I'm going to head back up." Amilia whispered quietly.
"Alright." Cristel told her back. "See you tomorrow, sweetheart." Cristel climbed back into bed as Amilia closed the door to Cristel's room. Amilia went back down the stairs and out the front door. She went through the portal and back through the woods. She stopped a moment before approaching the house. What would she say for her excuse? She wasn't home all night last night. Surely Oglm must have recovered. She quietly came in the sliding glass door. When she moved on to the living room she saw Oglm sleeping on the couch and Yxeyhzfk on the floor. She tried to make her way across the room without waking either of them. She turned out successful, then started her way up the stairs. She opened the door to her room slowly so she wouldn't wake Leo or Zali. She did the same as she closed the door.
"Why are you out so early?"
Amilia screamed. Then she covered her mouth.
"The heck is wrong with you!" She screamed. Oglm banged open her door to see what happened, Yxeyhzfk came in behind him.
"What's wrong Amilia?" Oglm asked her.
"Nim appeared out of nowhere again." Oglm looked over to Nim.
"Didn't we talk about that?"
"Oh you both did."
"Alright, what's the story?"
"Amilia didn't come back until this morning, just now." Oglm looked to Amilia.
"Better answer her." Oglm said moving his arm.
"I was with Cristel."
"Why do you look so tired?"
"I stayed with Akxfo late." Nim looked up and down Amilia.
"Alright, Nim." Oglm started. "Go on, get. You got your answers." Oglm said motioning with his hands. Nim walked back towards her door and then ran off on all fours. Oglm patted Amilia on the back. "Congrats on getting your collar off!" He started off with. "Now, get some rest." Oglm and Yxeyhzfk went out through her door. Yxeyhzfk smiled at her as he shut her door around. Amilia sighed as she sat down on her bed.
"Long day?" She heard a voice in her room say. She looked straight across from her bed, there was a mirror. She stood up and pulled the partially put sheet on it off. Then she sat back down again. "Oh come on, your not going to be like that are you?" Amilia looked to the mirror again and then away. "I'm guessing you're not looking forward to Unora and her plans?"
"No."
"See, there it is! Can't we have a decent conversation about what we like? You know instead of the Unora wants to conquer the world stuff?"
"Unora wanting to conquer the world is enough."
"Oh, don't be stubborn."
"I didn't ask you here, you know."
"What? I can't check in?"
"That's not what I said."
"Fine, fine."
"What do you think she will do?"
"Training, spells, her dirty work, that type of thing."
"Not to me."
"Like you said, take over the world. If that's what she wants, then that's what she's going to achieve."
"That doesn't exactly put my mind to rest."
"What's your favorite color?"
"Huh, my what?"
"Your favorite color."
"Nsefen, this is hardly the time-"
"Oh lighten up a bit, Amilia. That's what you need. A day for you, no Unora, no Oglm, No Leo, no Jasvinder, no distractions, just a day for you!"
"That hardly seems likely. I won't have any time to myself now."
"Well are you going to answer my question?"
"What question?"
Nsefen sighed.
"What's your favorite color, dear Amilia?"
"Purple."
"Well, what a bright color."
"Bright?" She whispered. "What's your favorite color?"
"Black." Nsefen said plainly. "It's so dark and mysterious. There's always a new adventure in the darkness, somewhere no one's been."
"Is Unora an adventure?" Nsefen looked to Amilia.
"Yes, she is." Nsefen paused. "But she's not going to be a good adventure. Mide as well prepare yourself. There's no telling what she will do."
