Amilia used her utensils as she sat at the dinner table with Yxeyhzfk and Cristel. There was slight clanging as the metal would hit the plaster. She kept eating politely, but still was unsure. She wasn't quite used to eating dinner with Yxeyhzfk and Cristel just yet. She had done it only a few times and tonight she was staying with them until the morning. The council wanted Amilia to interact with them as much as possible, which included eating with them, staying in the house, help with specific tasks, and sleeping over with them. Even though she had her own room, all to herself, she still felt weird when it seems to occur. Know the council deemed it necessary for her to spend the weekend with them, not every day of course, but a least interact for an hour or more each day with three meals and housing in their care. But finally, dinner had ceased, and she retired to the living room. After a while, Yxeyhzfk, joined her in the living room. He sat down in the comfy rocking chair and looked at the television. Then he glared over to Amilia.
"Is anything the matter Nennie?" He asked. Amilia didn't respond right away, but then realized he was talking to her. She made eye contact with him.
"No, nothing is wrong, why?"
"You just look a little upset, is all. I guess I looked at you from the wrong angle."
"Oh, well alright then." he still peered over every now and again to look at Amilia, and, she still looked the same. Some time later Amilia looked up to the clock.
"Well," Amilia started. "I better head up to bed." she said starting to sit up on the couch. Yxeyhzfk put his hand up and waved with a smile on his face. Amilia went up the wooden stairs that were in the house, in fact, the whole house seemed to be like a cabin. She went down the hall and into the room slightly to the left and across from her parents room. This was her room and it seemed to be to her liking. She was allowed to do whatever she wanted with the room. But she left the walls the wood color they came as and just added a bed with purple sheets on them, a few stuffed animals too, and cute tall lamps. She lifted the covers up and folded them back and climbed onto her bed which seemed to fit nicely in with the room. She hit down on her bed on her back and covered herself. She tossed and turned in her bed and finally had enough. She sat up from her bed and went downstairs to get a glass of water. Still not tired, Amilia fell to the couch and once again looked towards the TV. she put her hand to her mouth after a while and stood up, but when she looked around it was too dark to see. She remembered that a minute ago the light was on in the kitchen. She tried to walk a little, but still no light appeared. She was sure she had to have turned on some sort of light. Then she started to hear something drip. She looked around a bit, but didn't see anything, then it happened again, the noise. She went towards the noise, but when she came towards it she began to see something. The dripping continued, got louder in fact. Her eyes shook as she looked upon the scene. Leo had put a sword through her chest. Amilia felt her chest and looked back to the image.
"I'm sorry." she heard Leo stagger.
"Don't be." she heard herself say back.
Amilia gasped as she woke up from a dream. Her alarm clock was going off when she bulted up from her bed. She looked around in a rush and then smelled fresh eggs that must have been cooking. She got up and chose clothes out for the day then continued to downstairs. She tried to not show that she was startled as she looked to her parents in the kitchen. Cristel was still her go lovely happy self as always and Yxeyhzfk was tapping to a tune they were both humming. Amilia approached them in the kitchen and looked at them.
"Isn't that unsanitary?" Amilia asked seeing Cristel on the counter.
"Oh, you ruin our fun." she said back to her.
"Who's the adult here?" Cristel blushed and got off the counter. Amilia awaited her answer and finally Cristel looked her in the eye.
"I suppose I am." Cristel said stubbornly.
"Yes, and I don't know about you, but I don't like to get sick." Yxeyhzfk laughed quietly as he looked at the two. "Hey, don't you laugh!" Amilia yelled pointing at Yxeyhzfk. "You were apart of this too, Hix!" This made him laugh even more and louder this time.
"Of course, I know. We did this all the time, or did you forget?" Amilia sighed and then looked up at him.
"I'm not Nesfen, Hix, i don't remember anything."
"Oh, yes, I must've forgot."
"How indescribable."
"Ah!" Amilia screamed jumping a bit. Yxeyhzfk looked about as startled as Amilia and Cristel held the counter as she too was surprised.
"What did we talk about? What did we talk about? Several times!" Amilia said yelling.
"Not to do my sneak up stalk thing, I know."
"Why are you here!"
"Believe it or not, the council never actually released you from a protector's overseeing."
"You've been here, in their house, everyday?"
"Well, no, technically I've been following you around. So I'm only here when you are here to be exact." Amilia held her hands up and then shrugged.
"Why does the council want you to still be my protector?"
"So no one hurts you."
"No one's going to hurt me." Amilia said confidently.
"How about Akxfo?" Amilia put her finger into the air and opened her mouth, but was silent. She closed her mouth and sighed.
"Fair point." Amilia said allowed. Nim started to walk off towards the door and gripped the handle.
"Where are you going?" Amilia said to her.
"Outside?" she said pointing at the door with her thumb.
"I thought you were watching me."
"Oh yes I am."
"From outside?"
"I do my job well Miss. Amilia." Nim opened the door and then shut it behind her. When Amilia opened the door she was gone, disappeared.
