"What are you doing?"
"I don't know, my child, what am I doing?"
"Amilia!" She heard Yxeyhzfkx call out. Yxeyhzfkx and Cristel ran up and hugged her.
"Are you alright?" Cristel said, looking her over.
"I'm fine, where's Jasvinder and Leo?"
"We don't know. Last I heard they were in the courtyard." Amilia looked at Nora.
"I'll go look for them at once your majesty." She ran off towards the courtyard and Amilia tried to follow her, to no avail. Her father grabbed her and then held onto her hand.
"I know you only want to help, and find the ones you love. But right now, we need to get to safety."
"You're going to leave your son behind?"
"We're not leaving anyone behind."
"Oh really? Where's Leo?"
"Leovan is highly trained, I know he is alright. What matters right now is that you get to safety."
"Me, what?"
"Yes, Amilia, you."
"Why do you care so much, not like I'm Nsefen!"
"Amilia Cripple!" Cristel yelled. "How dare you speak to your father like that!"
"I care because I got to know you, and I can't lose you, not again!" Amilia's grin disappeared as they led her out of the castle. They all walked into town, where they ran into Jkdek. He was scraped and bits and pieces of him were stained with black suit.
"Oh my gosh, Jkdek are you alright?"
"Yes, yes, thank you, your majesty. Are all of you alright?"
"Yes, we are. Thank you."
"How about the others, is everyone alright?"
"I, I- I don't know. As far as I know there were no meetings at the time, all of them were done for the day. The only thing I fear is that we may have lost some of our workers. How about your palace? I heard it got hit as well."
"I'm not sure myself. I found my wife and my daughter and I just grabbed them and ran out." He paused, "I know a lot of our guards were helping people out and setting perimeters, I mean we have preclusions in place in case this sort of thing ever were to happen."
"Then your plan will work, you are a very strategic man."
"Amilia!" Amilia turned around and in came a hug from Leo and Jasvinder. They backed away and Jasvinder touched her cheek, they hugged again.
"You're alright."
"Yes, you too?"
"Yes." More explosions went off and Jasvinder held Amilia as they did so. In front of the teenagers stood the adults, Yxeyhzfkx, Cristel, and Jkdek. The city burned, buildings were on fire, people running in the streets, looking for loved ones. Amilia looked around her in awe. Soon after more joined them, Akxfo and Oglm, Nim and Seyoek. Everyone watched the chaos unravel. Then they saw someone walking towards them. Oglm, Nim, and Akxfo drew their weapons, ready to fight in case they needed to. And out of the smoke, came Unora. She was in her armor, her eyes pierced like a desert storm.
"No, it can't be."
"Is that?" It fell silent.
"Hello kiddies, it's me, the devilish witch Unora. In the flesh."
