Amilia woke up that morning and sighed. Once again it was the weekend. She got dressed and packed herself a bag. Next she headed out the door and into the forest. She walked around the Market for a while since Oglm wasn't at a meeting yet. She was thinking a lot about the meeting she had went to the other week. The peoples marks were nearly the same as hers. Jkdek said she was important, but she didn't feel that way. She felt that they were all the same and if that was true then why she all talked up to this high and mighty place.

"I wish I weren't Marked." She said. "What I'd give to not have so much responsibility."

"Well hello there!" Oglm said coming up behind there. "I've been called, so I need you to go back to the shop and do my orders."

"Alright I'll head there now." She said smiling. She worked for all the while he was gone. When he came up to the shop it was about eleven at night and they walked home together. Amilia gladly kicked off her shoes and changed her pajamas after she took a shower. With her wet hair she fell asleep.

Haven't you ever wondered what would happen if you were born without something you've always had? Something that makes you unique?

Amilia woke up in a huge room. I mean, it was HUGE. There was so much space. It was like twice the size of Amilia's room, if not bigger. She looked around at all the things in the room too. It was filled with different things. She'd be lucky if there was any wall space left. There were paintings, pictures, armors, dressers, even a trunk. She got up front the big bed she was in and looked around the place. She knew it wasn't exactly right to look around someone else's room, but, after all, she was here. She opened two tall doors on the wall. They led into a huge walk-in closet. Full of dresses and other types of clothing, but they were all fancy for sure. There was something for every occasion. She walked out of the closet and found some glass doors on the other side of the room. They led out to a balcony that was a decent size. The balcony had a hammock, a swing and many fancy lawn chairs. Amilia walked back into the room and went over to a big glass curio cabinet. It was full of different crowns. The dressers were full of jewelry as well. When she finally found a mirror she screamed. She looked at her hands, they were in gloves. Her skin was green and her ears were pointed.

"That's what you get." Amilia jumped again. Cam appeared behind her.

"What's going on? Did you have something to do with this?"

"You remarked in the Market that you 'wished' you weren't Marked."

"You made me unmarked!?!"

"In a word, yes."

"Is there a way to change back?"

"There could be."

"I'm stuck like this?"

"It's what you wanted."

"Yes, but this whole place and I wasn't being literal!"

"Well, yes. But it is a golden opportunity. You see if I take this all away it'll never come back for you." Amilia uncrossed her arms.

"I guess I could give it a try. I mean I could use a break."

"Alrighty then. Just let me tell you your situation here. You are no longer marked. Which means no orange glow, no strange powers, no special responsibilities whatsoever. You got the human part of the Marked. You are still eighteen, no doubt about that, the war between the Underground is over. Unlike the Market you know, there is no high council. The war ended when your dad conquered the whole Underground. Now you live in this huge castle with your father." She motioned to the whole room. "Since you never displayed a mark you never de-aged. In a sense, you never would have existed. So enjoy your time in this wonderful world of yours. Oh, and by the way. I am the royal wizards apprentice." Cam bopped her nose and then vanished into thin air.
