Oglm clanged glasses with Seyoek as they took a sip of their champagne. They were enjoying a nice candle lit dinner together.

"It's been quite a long time." Seyoek mentioned.

"Hm? What do you mean?" Oglm replied back to her.

"Our relationship, it's been a good few years, yes?"

"Of course." Oglm smiled.

"Of course?"

"Yeah, it's been a great relationship."

"A great relationship?"

Oglm laughed, "Oh relax, you know I love you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me."

"Is that so?"

"Of course, you inspire me everyday." Seyoek blushed and then took a bite of her dinner.

"I'm glad."

Oglm smiled again. After their most present dinner they went into the living room and watched a movie. Later retreating to his room.

"What do you think?" Seyoek asked him.

"What do you mean?"

"Us. What's going to happen to us?"

"Oh I don't know."

"You mean you haven't given it any thought?"

"I- I, uh- of course I have, several times. But there's more than one factor to take into account, Seyoek."

"I suppose so. But then, what's after that?"

Oglm snickered, "Are you hinting at something?"

"Why no, of course not- I've just seen the way you have been treating Amilia lately, and I know that you and Nsefen had a thing."

"Oh no, no! It's nothing like that, I promise. It's just, she called me dad and, I guess that's how I've been treating her."

"You would make a great dad." They stayed quiet for a little bit. "Do you want children?"

"Do you?"

"I would love to, it's always been a dream of mine. Whether it's one or twelve." She laughed.

"Yeah, I suppose I'd want children too." Seyoek turned over and hugged Oglm around the chest, she kissed him on the cheek. She buried her head in his neck and then fell asleep. Oglm stared at the ceiling for a while and then heard the door open and shut. He glanced at his phone, it was 11:00 pm. He moved Seyoek ever so slightly and walked down the stairs, he stopped halfway and sat down, a sigh came from the kitchen. Amilia stood over the sink, clearly deep in thought. Then suddenly, he heard her cry, and he couldn't understand why. It was late, and he had actually forgotten that she was still out. Amilia wiped the tears from her eyes and then sat down at the island.

"I can't do this anymore." She whispered to herself. "All of this is so hard. Playing these games, putting on these shows." She banged her head down on the table. "I need time for myself, to choose who I want to be." Amilia got up and went over to the door, she took off her shoes and Oglm scurried up the stairs. He went into his room, the door cracked open, just the slightest bit. He watched Amilia go into her room, as she closed the door behind herself. He could hear her get into her bed and roll around a little bit. Then finally it was silent and he closed his door all the way. He sat back down on the bed and threw the covers back onto himself.

"Is everything alright?"

"Huh? Sorry I didn't mean to wake you."

Seyoek sat up. "No, no, it's alright."

Oglm turned over to look at her, "Amilia just got in."

"This late?"

"Yeah. She was crying downstairs."

"Crying? Why would she need to cry, isn't she happy?"

"Yeah, or at least that's what I thought. She's said something about not wanting to act anymore, she doesn't want to deal with life anymore."

"Oh dear, she not-" Seyoek paused, "Suicidal."

"No, oh heavens no. At least I don't think so. It didn't sound like that, it just sounded like she's overwhelmed, needs some time off."

"Maybe we could go do something together."

"Like what?"

"Well, I know I'm not Marked like you, but we do have an underground amusement park. Don't teenagers like that kind of stuff? I mean, it'd be fun either way, the three of us spending time together-" Seyoek gasped. "Or the four of us! Amilia could beeping her boyfriend it's be like a fun double date!"

"Yeah, that would be fun, huh?"

"Yes! You'll have to ask her for me, I have to be back at my fathers shop tomorrow, as always. We got a big order in for a cake. There's someone having a birthday tomorrow and they have a gluten allergy, so best to start early and work slow to account for that measure."

"Yeah, alright." Oglm motioned his hands and Seyoek laid back down. "Best for you to get back to sleep, little missy, you have an early day tomorrow."
