Amilia woke up the next morning to her alarm like she did everyday. After she was dressed she opened her door and quickly remembered what had happened the day before. There were guards outside of her room at the big elegant doors to her room. Amilia didn't know her way around quite yet so Cristel was outside there waiting for her. They walked to the dining room and had breakfast together. Which was great of course, they had a most wonderful conversation. Then she had to scurry off to school. She was almost late, and had to recalculate when she should set her alarm for. They day went smooth like that and her classes were actually great. She was happy that whole day, which you think would be normal, but was actually odd. No one had made her mad, and no teacher even called on her today. Usually there is always something that seems to wreck her day. But as the final bell rang Jasvinder came up behind her in the hallway. He turned her around and grabbed her hands and dragged her outside the front doors.
"Are you free tonight?"
"I'm not sure. This whole thing happened yesterday in the Market. They made a kingdom for the people of Cotalose. They're calling it Catalin and guess, what! I'm the princess and my mother is the queen."
"Oh, I see. Well we can always discover tonight. Would you like that? We can hunt through the new castle and make a map, maybe even get into some mischief."
Amilia laughed, "Yeah that would be fun."
"Then it's a date then, I can come with you right now, is that ok?"
"Yes, of course." They scurried off to the Market. And then off to Cataline. It took a little while longer, of course, but Amilia didn't mind. When they came into the castle Cristel stopped them and gave Amilia a big hug and shook Jasvinder's hand.
"What are you doing here, good sir?" Cristel asked him.
"It's date night!" he said, answering her.
"Date night?"
"Yes, once every week we try to plan something. And well, we decided that we would go looking around the castle and make a nice map."
"Oh how nice. Well, you two enjoy yourself on this 'date night'. Will you be joining us for dinner?"
"Oh, what time would that be?"
"Sometime around six."
"I don't know, what do you say Amilia?"
"I'd love to have you stay."
"Well alrighty then, I'll be there." They left after that and walked around the castle. They found so many things. There was a room full of armor, and another of crowns, even a room full of clothes. They made a decent map of all the rooms with labels included. It turns out that all the bedrooms are in the same hallway and that Amilia was next to a guest room and her mothers room. Though they did find a room that looked like Nsefen's room from Cotalose. Amilia couldn't really tell that it was, but there was a big mirror on a dresser against the wall that Nsefen had appeared in. She had told them that it was exactly like her room back home. She didn't bother Amilia much anymore. They went ahead and put their map to the test, finding the dining room. To her surprise, the map actually worked, they found the dining room.
"Whoa!" Jasvinder said, in awe. "That's one big table!"
"Yeah, I know. Wouldn't be the first time I sat at one."
"Really?"
"Oh yeah, but I don't want to get into that, that's a long story to tell."
"I see."
"Hello there you two!" Cristel said, coming out of the kitchen. "Pick a seat, anywhere is fine."
