"I don't see it." Amilia said seeming to talk into her hand.
"Oh it's there, keep looking."
"Must I remind you that I must be home for Christmas?"
"Yes I know, just find it sweetheart." Amilia put the sweet little device into her pocket.
"It'll be easy she said, it won't take long she said..." Amilia said angrily looking throughout the wasteland. She continued to move the giant rocks.
"Hey!" someone said jumping down from a rock. "What are you doing all the way out here?" she stared at Amilia. "Come on now, why are you here, Amilia?"
"Huh, what, well tell me first," Amilia stumbled. "How do you know me?"
"Word of mouth."
"Well, well, who are you?" Amilia said pointing.
"Peridot, a Volcanic Peridot. People call me VP, but i'm not so sure I want you to call me that just yet." they stared at each other in the eyes for a few minutes. "So," she said sitting down. "Why are you here?"
"I'm just running an errand for someone."
"What are you looking for then? Some sort of stone I presume. A runestone, correct?"
"I uh, yes, that's what it is."
"Ah, so you're here for a witch's errand? I didn't think too many were still alive. After all there was that raid."
"Do you know where it is?"
"Not quite, I'm afraid. The quartz's have been cleaning up this area. It has took them nearly forty years to clean up the wreckage, but-" she paused. "Maybe it's around here somewhere." she jumped up and over the rocks. "Are you coming?" she said looking down to Amilia. Amilia started making her way up the rocks. Once she reached the top she stood right next to Peridot. Amilia noticed that she wore an earring that had an 'M' on it. It was only one earring and it was on her left side too. Of course Amilia followed the Peridot for quite a while. They finally reached a building. The building looked like an ancient ruin of some sort.  "This is not a ruin, it is a battlefield. The only building left standing is the palace the family inhabited. This is where the quartz's go to rest and rejuvenate before going out to clean up more wreckage." she stopped suddenly as if out of nowhere. "Hey, Jackson!!!" she yelled as loud she could. A person looked down to her. "Have you seen a runestone anywhere?!" she yelled again. The person disappeared and a moment later something was thrown down to Peridot. "Thanks Jackson!"
She yelled once more. "Here you are." She said handing the rune to Amilia. "I'll help you back too. It was confusing to get here anyway." Amilia followed her back through the wreckage. "There, have a nice rest of your day Amilia. Hopefully that witch doesn't keep you too long, I mean with the holiday and all." Amilia laughed.
"Yes, I hope so too, thank you so much Peridot." Peridot waved as Amilia left. When Amilia was a good distance away she sighed. "That was close." she whispered to herself.
"Darling are we on schedule?"
"Yes, we are." Amilia held up the rune so she could see it.
"Oh, wonderful, just wonderful!" all of the sudden she was in Unora's lair. She didn't remember walking there or anything of the sort, she was just, poof! "Good job, my child, gracious job!"
