In Camilia's study, they found nothing. Each spell they tried failed. They brewed potions, to which, had no prevail. Camilia smashed her hands down on the table.
"You're stuck here." She paused. "You are stuck here. How did you even get here?" She said, turning to her.
"I told you, Unora sent me here."
"How."
"I don't know, she didn't say anything, she just lifted up her finger and then pointed at me."
"Well, then I guess you need to become friends with the queen."
"What?"
"She's got to send you back."
"Camilia." Camilia and Amilia screamed. "I need to borrow her, my mother is henpecking me."
"By all means, take her." She said with her head down. Nsefen took Amilia by the hand and dragged her out of the study.
"What am I doing again?"
"Some frilly magic. Just so she thinks that I am teaching you magic."
"And you're sure I won't get in trouble?"
"Depends if you piss her off or not."
"Nsefen! Good to see you around."
"Go away, Lorelei."
"Come on, I'm your sister." Nsefen laughed, then stopped.
"What do you want?"
"She's a good sparring partner, but there's no way you know all those spells, which means she learned them somewhere else."
"You be quiet you little imp, so help me. This Marked is my ticket out of mom's hair."
"Did you ever ask the question of where she learned Catalin magic? You know the restrictions mom has put onto the Marked, and she looks like she was born during those restrictions. So how did she get a hold of a staff and learn Catalin specific magic?"
"Does it matter?"
"You know what mom said, she could be-"
"Like hell she is. You're right she's Marked, but do you honestly think she will pull something with all the guards and magic users in here?"
"Well, no." Nsefen turned around and looked at Amilia and then stepped back. She had let go of Amilia in her rage.
"You didn't run."
"No, why would I? I-" She laughed, "I don't need to, do I?"
"I guess not, but that's usually what happens."
"What about the other Marked in the palace? They aren't running."
"They are slaves. My mother uses a spell to make them obey her. She doesn't typically just let Marked in here."
"Oh, yeah, that's right." Amilia laughed again.
"Well," Lorelei said. "You're not going to teach her anything. So I mide as well."
"You are not taking my freedom from me!"
"Lorelei, mfu ark xqbs lq?"
"Go away Chicago." They both said without looking at him.
"Tpuq, P cpcu'i vfui arkg xqbs fuavfa." Chicago walked off in a rage and the argument went on.
"You are not going to teach her anything! She deserves to at least learn something, or have a decent partner to spar with!"
