"Are you alright?" Beath asked Amilia. "I suggested this tutoring to help you in your already slipping classes." he closed the history book they were working with. "I thought you would fancy this unit, it is quite exciting." He paused, and there was silence for a moment. "We don't have to talk about school."
"I know."
"Would you like to talk about it?"
"Like to? Yes. can I? No."
"Ah, a secret I suppose."
"Yes, you suppose."
"Well , then you're doing your friend a favor. That's good on your behalf, though, if you want to talk about it, then I am here."
Amilia laughed. "No." Beath shrugged his shoulders and went back to the lesson. After finishing the essay Beath looked up to Amilia again.
"We don't have to study. If your schedule is too busy-"
"No! No, it's fine! I need the extra grade anyway, you know my English grade."
"Well, I Hope next week you are more focused. You were quite out of the zone today." He stood up and extended his. "Until next time, Miss. Cripple." Amilia shook his hand and he showed her out. Amilia got in her car and began to drive back to Oglm's house. But when she got out she wasn't at Oglm's house. She didn't quite know where she was. She was at some sort of mansion in the woods. Oglm's house was about half an hour away from Beath's house. She thought the trip was longer than usual, yet she knew how (for some reason) to get to this mansion. She got out of her car and looked at the mansion.
"How the-"
"Hello Amilia." Amilia screamed at whatever had said her name. "Oh don't be afraid." He snapped his fingers and everything seemed to go blank for Amilia. "Follow me." He said, waving his hand on in front of her. She seemed to follow him. They went into the mansion and he brought her to a bedroom. He made her sit down on the bed in the room, he made sure the drapes were closed. Then he snapped his fingers. Amilia popped up and almost put the man against the wall.
"What do you want?"
"I want to help you."
"Why?"
"You brought my father back. You brought him home to me."
"So you want to help me... with what exactly?" She said putting her arms down.
"Your little dilemma." He paused. "You know, the one that starts with U and ends in a."
"Ugh, wha- how did you-" he pointed to his head. "I took control of you once, without you knowing. That's how I got you here. I did it subconsciously, on your way 'home'. I wanted to help you, because, in turn, you brought him back. Anyways, just bring Akxfo to me and I will take care of everything."
"You'll take care of everything?"
"Yes, I had a brilliant idea. If I were to bite him, then he would no longer be in Unora's deck. But you would have to do it too."
"I would have to do it?"
"Yes, she has you in her deck. She has you under a certain, how should I say, control."
"I don't want to be a vampire."
"Of course not. Just because I bite you doesn't mean you can't go out during the day or have a thirst for blood. You only become a vampire when I want you to be. And I wouldn't use that unless it's truly needed. Consider it a super power of sorts. You can have super strength and immortality with just the snap of a finger."
"And I don't have to give you squat?"
"You have already given me something." He bent over to her and then lifted himself back up. "You're going to feel odd for a few days."
"What, what are you- Ah! You bit me!" She said, feeling her neck.
"Yes, now, please go get Akxfo."
"Why don't you come with me?" Amilia said back to him.
"Are you crazy? It's still light out. You may be immune, but I was born a vampire."
"Relax, I got a car and an umbrella. Besides the forest covers you from the sun until we get to the car. Come on, you can see him yourself. I'll text Oglm and make sure he gets Akxfo's butt up here."
"Haha, guess there's no fooling you."
