Ruby's eyes fluttered open and they landed on Hope, who was lying across from her. She leant forward and placed a kiss on Hope's forehead, waking her up. Hope's eyes opened, and she looked to the hybrid lovingly. "That was the cutest way to wake up, ever." She laughed, causing Ruby to giggle.
"Happy anniversary, Hope." The Waithe said, before the pair locked lips, sharing a loving soft kiss. "Happy anniversary, my love." Hope said once they broke apart.
Suddenly the door swung open, and Ruby squeaked as she scrambled to pull the covers over herself and Hope. In the doorway stood Monica, with Landon and Jordan standing on either side of her, each carrying a plate of pancakes.
"Happy anniversary, bitches."

"Necromancer has made his move, and the entire student body is in that high school with him." Alaric spoke as he paced around the room before eventually he faced Hope, Ruby, Monica, Josie, Landon, Jordan, Lizzie and Kaleb.
"So the question my daughter asked me earlier is one I put to you now: What are we gonna do?" The headmaster asked. "I have a plan. In the past, I would have kept it from you. You know, I built this school to protect you and your gifts from a world that understands neither, but the way I see it... you're the world's only shot now." He declared before Monica sighed, catching Alaric's attention, "All right, enough with the speech. I'm in." She said. Ruby nodded determinedly, "I'm in too." She decided.
"Well, you guys haven't even heard the plan." Alaric reminded them. "It ends with us winning, right?" Hope asked as the Saltzman nodded. "Yeah." He answered.
"Where the hell is MG?" Lizzie suddenly asked. "Found a note from him this morning. He went to go help Alyssa Chang." Kaleb replied as the group seemed surprised, Monica and Lizzie particularly looked disgusted. "Oh. Well I'm in too." Lizzie decided.
"Yeah. Make that the five of us." Landon piped up before Alaric replied, "Landon, this is gonna be very dangerous. And given recent events—"
"I went to that school. I mean, I'll stay out of the fight, but I can help." Landon insisted.

Monica's pink beetle zoomed into the Mystic falls highschool parking lot, followed by Kaleb's red car as well as a bus of Salvatore students.
The Montgomery's car came to a stop as Monica got out of the driver seat, and removed her sunglasses. Lizzie got out of the passenger seat, and the two girls walked towards the front of the vehicle, and reached out to hold each other's hands.
