"This is Lizzie Saltzman's phone, leave a message!"
Upon hearing a long beep noise, Hope began to talk into the phone, "Hey Lizzie, it's Hope. I hope your fashion business in New York is going well. Ruby and I miss you." The tribrid continued to talk. "Look... you might want to start heading down to Mystic Falls sometime soon. Jordan's days are numbered..." The tribrid sighed sadly, "I hope we'll see you soon." She concluded, before she ended the call, and looked out the window of her Mystic falls home and her eyes glanced at the garden.
It had been eighty years since the group had graduated together from the Salvatore school, and eighty years since Monica had been sent into a deep slumber, as no one could figure out how to wake her.
Jordan, Josie, Lizzie, Hope and other witches from the Salvatore school had spent countless hours searching for answers, but found nothing. Eventually they came to the conclusion that there was nothing that they could do. Jordan had to live out his life.
Whilst the group had been more than eager to see their favourite sassy, bisexual vampire again... they wanted to cherish every moment they had with Jordan.
And that was exactly what Ruby, had done.

"I'm here to see Jordan Montgomery." Ruby spoke up, as she stood at a reception desk of a retirement home. She faced the snarky receptionist, who was tapping away on her computer.
"You've been here everyday this week..." The receptionist stated the obvious. Ruby shrugged, not sure why she had said that, "Well.. Jordan is like family to me." She simply replied.
"You usually have that pretty auburn haired friend with you.. where is she today?" The receptionist then asked, her eyes flicking up to Ruby who just smiled smugly, "Oh— you mean my wife. She's preoccupied, looking after our daughter. Not that it's any of your business." The Waithe spoke rather smugly, before she turned to walk towards the hallway, leading to Jordan's room... but not before making sure the receptionist saw the shiny diamond ring on her finger..
Ruby approached a large door, with "Jordan Montgomery" on it. She knocked before she heard a quiet, "Come in." being mumbled from inside. She opened the door and smiled when her eyes landed on Jordan. "Hi Jordan." She greeted.
Jordan was sitting in a wheelchair. He wheeled it to the centre of the room and faced Ruby. "Are you my nurse?" He asked, quite confusedly. Jordan was sick, and it had been really eating away at his memory... it had gotten substantially worse over the last two years.
