Ruby threw Hope's dorm room door open, as she held a plate with a slice of raspberry cheesecake in her hand, a lit candle sticking out of the top. Hope's eyes fluttered open, as she felt disoriented by the sudden burst of light. When she could focus her eyes on Ruby, she saw the pinkette with a bright smile.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you." Ruby began to sing, approaching the tribrid's bed. "Happy birthday dear Hopey, happy birthday to you." She finished the birthday song, giving her girlfriend a loving smile.
"Thank you baby." Hope smiled, as she sat ups. The tribrid leant in to give Ruby a kiss before her eyes darted to the cake. "No worries, my love." The Waithe smiled lovingly, before handing the plate with the cheesecake to the Mikealson.
"Don't forget to make a wish before you blow out the candle." Ruby grinned as Hope smiled playfully. "My wish has already come true." The tribrid insisted. "I've found an epic love of my life, who I guess now I'm stuck with forever... I don't need anything else." Hope smiled lovingly, which caused Ruby to smile brightly.
Hope then blew out the candle, before breaking off a piece of cake with the spoon. She shovelled it into her mouth, looking satisfied.
"This is incredible." She said, mouth still full of cake. "I love you." The Mikealson added. "Hope, sweetie, love of my life... are you talking to me, or the slice of cake?" Ruby asked, looking amused. Hope looked back to Ruby, looking as if she had been accused of something. "I can love two things!" Hope interjected, causing the hybrid to laugh.

Monica closed her car boot, with a loud clunk. She turned to Jordan, who still had red and puffy eyes from crying. "Ready to go?" She asked, as Jordan just nodded sadly, as he could hardly find the energy to speak.
"Mon? Jordy?" A voice piped up, as the Saltzman twins walked over. "Hey." Monica smiled weakly, as Lizzie suddenly embraced her. The taller blonde threw her arms around Lizzie, needing the comfort. The vampire looked up, finding Jordan and Josie in an embrace, as Jordan was crying in Josie's arms.
"What time will you guys be back?" Lizzie asked softly, as she pulled away from Monica arms, but took her hands in her own instead. Monica looked down at their intertwined hands, before smiling sadly back up at Lizzie. "Well... it takes about six hours to get to Phoenix from here, four with my driving." She grinned. "I should be back to celebrate Mikealson's birthday with you guys, tonight."
Lizzie nodded happily, before she moved forward to kiss Monica, softly. Monica's eyes fluttered shut, as she kissed the Saltzman back. "I'll see you tonight." The Montgomery replied, once she pulled away. Lizzie nodded before she said, "Drive safely."
