When Ruby's eyes fluttered open, everything seemed different. She couldn't explain the odd feeling... everything seemed far too quiet...
The pinkette sat upright, noticing she was lying on a couch, in what seemed like a cabin. Ruby frowned, and instantly got up and started walking around, trying to make sense of her surroundings.
The Waithe exited the cabin, running into her twin at full speed, who was moving to enter the cabin. Ruby furrowed her eyebrows before she asked, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be dead?"
Rafael couldn't keep a straight face upon finding his usually friendly twin to be harsh... he found it a little amusing. It didn't suit her, to be honest.
"It's nice to see you too, Ru." Rafael teased as Ruby looked at him blankly, waiting for him to explain himself. "And I'm not alive, I'm still in the Prison world... only you're here too." The Waithe admitted as Ruby frowned. "You have got to be kidding me..." The pinkette looked around, realising that it was possibly true, as nobody was around.
The world around them seemed so still, and peaceful... perfect even. "Why am I here?" Ruby crossed her arms, recognising their surroundings to be the prison world her twin had been sent to, to avoid his death. "I think you know damn well why you're here, Ruby." Rafael responded, crossing his arms also as though he was trying to match her energy.
"I'm not turning my humanity back on, if that's what you're expecting of me." Ruby narrowed her eyes at her taller twin brother. "Fine. You may as well get comfortable then, because you're gonna be here for a while." Rafael decided. "Whatever..." Ruby sassed him.

A few days had passed, and although Rafael had attempted to make conversation with his twin, she didn't allow it. She kept avoiding him and moving away whenever he tried to approach her.
Currently, the hybrid sat by the docks overlooking the lake, which was identical to the one from the Salvatore school. She could hear Rafael's footsteps approaching her, causing her to instantly grow annoyed.
"What do you want?" Ruby demanded, as Rafael tried not to take offence to her tone. "I just wanted to see if you were hungry." Rafael confessed. "Although we're in a Prison World, we do need to eat. You haven't fed since you got here."
"What are you offering your vein on tap?" Ruby spoke dryly, before she turned to see that Rafael had offered a blood bag out to her. The pinkette inhaled sharply before she reached to take it, though her cold eyes darted to her twin, "I'm a ripper. It would be best if you leave."
"I trust that you won't eat me." Rafael admitted as Ruby narrowed her eyes at him before she shook her head, "A stupid decision, really." The shorter Waithe declared. When she realised Rafael wasn't going to leave, she decided to open the blood bag and drink from it.
