They were still walking along metal while talking.

"Oh, I thought we'd never reach the bottom." Frayling said, breathlessly.

"A few steps never hurt anyone, Lieutenant Commander." Celestia said.

"Now this is interesting. You see this symbol on the floor?" The Doctor pointed at it.

"Ah, a symmetrical device. Three hooks joined together at the centre. I recognise it from somewhere, but I..." Frayling was cut off by The Doctor again.

"Remember what the Engineer Prime called his people? The Triskele? This symbol here is known almost universally as a Triskelion. Celestia and I have seen it in places as far apart as the ice caves of Nepthis, and the Isle of Man. Your culture must be very old, Engineer." The Doctor explained.

"Do you mean to say, Doctor, that these creatures have been to our planet before?" Tamworth asked.

"Once the universe feared the Triskele. Many civilisations have known of our skill and recorded it. To them, it remains a trace of our past." Engineer Prime explained.

"Your reputation has preceded you, you mean. What happens now, Engineer Prime?" The Doctor asked.

"Step onto the arms of the sigil. Tamworth Lord here, Doctor The here, Celestia here, Frayling Technical Director here, beside Engineer Prime." Engineer Prime said.

"Each in a different sector of the Triskelion. I see." The Doctor said. "Now?"

"Now the Triskele come." Engineer Prime said just as an electronic noise was heard.

"That, that, that noise, what does it mean?" Tamworth gasped.

"Here the Engineer Triskele." Engineer Prime said.

"I say!" Frayling exclaimed.

"Thousands of the beggars behind you, Frayling. Where. There was no-one here, and now there is. Where's the ship gone? Where's my airship gone?" Tamworth asked repeatedly.

"It is above. We are between." Engineer Prime said.

"Fascinating! The decks of this vessel move around the people, something like that?" The Doctor asked.

"That is correct. Something like that." Engineer Prime answered vaguely.

"The decks of this vessel move around the people? That's absurd. How can that happen? Why?" Frayling tried to understand.

"Brilliant, just brilliant. I love it! No stairs." The Doctor exclaimed. "So these are the Engineer Triskele?"

"We are. We are intellect. We construct this space for all the Triskele." Engineer Prime said.

"Construct this space? What does that mean?" Tamworth asked.

"We perceive. We build." Engineer Prime explained but stopped when he saw the Time Lords. "Remain on the sigil please, Doctor The, Celestia." He warned them.

"Sorry." Celestia said.

"So, when are we going to meet the other Triskele?" The Doctor questioned, changing the subject.

"Other Triskele?" Tamworth asked, not understanding.

"There are three parts to the Triskelion, aren't there?" The Doctor asked. "Here, the Engineer Triskele, the rational, thinking part. Architects, designers, mathematicians, physicists, statisticians." He explained.

"And the other parts, where are they?" Tamworh questioned further.

"I think we're about to find out." Celestia said, standing a bit closer to The Doctor. He gave her hand a squeeze to tell her not to worry.  Then they heard another electronic noise as everything went dark.
