"Well sister, I've dealt with Reagan. She won't be bothering you anymore." The Protector says on the phone.

"Did you curse her or take her powers?" Celestia asks.

"I took her powers." The Protector says.

"Good riddance." Celestia sighs. "By the way, I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" The Protector asks.

"I feel like something bad is going to happen but I don't know what." She says.

"Well, let's hope you're wrong." The Protector says.

"I highly doubt it, you know with me being a telepath and all." Celestia sighs. "Please be careful, brother."

"Don't worry about me, sis. I think you're forgetting that I'm the sorcerer supreme." The Protector says, cheekily.

"Ego." Celestia says, chuckling. "Anyway I've gotta go. I'll see you soon, I hope."

"See you." The Protector says as he hangs up the phone.

Celestia returns to her room, finding The Doctor very much asleep in her bed. He looked so peaceful and it makes her so happy. She joins him in the bed and snuggles to his side as she falls asleep as well.

"He's such a chum. But won't he expect me to be dead?" Charley asks.

"Last night I stopped the Tardis in that year and sent messages ahead." The Doctor says.

"Goodness!" Charley exclaims.

"Had nothing to do with it. The old girl's still having some of her funny turns. It took six tries to get here." The Doctor says.

"When did you even do that?" Celestia says, entering the console room as she yawns.

"You were sleeping, dear. I didn't want to wake you up." The Doctor says.

"You're so sweet." Celestia grins, walking up to him and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "So who are we seeing?"

"Charley's friend, Alex I think." The Doctor explains.

"He dances divinely, and he always has something stunning in his buttonhole." Charley says.

"Sounds like a man after my own heart. I'll not meet him, though." Celestia says.

"What? Why?" Charley asks.

"Don't you know?" Celestia says, looking at The Doctor. The Doctor pulls her to his chest and kisses the top of her head.

"And there's a spot in the Tea Gardens at the Singapore Hilton where the humidity isn't so oppressive, and you can hear everything across the harbour. Perfect place to witness the New Year celebrations." He says.

"Oh I love that place!" Celestia exclaims.

"I know you do." The Doctor grins. "And now it's just out there. Come on, off we go." He says. Celestia and Charley head for the door but The Doctor stops them. "No, no, wait."

"What?" Charley asks.

"This hat, is it me?" He asks as he takes the hat which he wore in his seventh incarnation.

"Oh I love this hat." Celestia giggles. "You wore it in your previous incarnation." She says. "The only version of you that I didn't get to say goodbye to." She sighs.
