"Your dispersal beam seems to be working, if I'm reading these displays correctly." The Doctor says.

"You are correct. But the dispersal rate is low." Rosm says.

"Yes, I see what you mean. Those unknown particles are pretty densely packed, aren't they?" The Doctor asks.

"Lifeforms now detected." Rosm says.

"I can't make out the imaging. Is that three or four?" The Doctor asks.

"Readings are still unclear. Unknown particle density is increasing." Rosm says.

"Can't you increase power to the dispersal beam?" Celestia asks.

"Not until landing has been effected. Initiating final descent." Rosm says.

"Come on, come on, come on." The Doctor says.

"I find your impatience a curious response to the situation, lifeform Doctor, given you know I will terminate lifeform Charley when I have located her." Rosm says.

"But surely your primary mission is to rescue the personnel of the base?" The Doctor asks.

"You are correct." Rosm confirms.

"Isn't it obvious that these alien particles are more likely to pose a threat?" Celestia asks.

"What you've detected in Charley is potential mutagenic cells which may or may not turn malignant in the next few decades. Which is the more clear and present danger?" The Doctor continues for her.

"Planetfall achieved. Particle dispersal beam intensity increasing to maximum. Lifepod is attached to secondary airlock. Extending docking connectors to Cimmeria Four Base main airlock." Rosm says.

"Doctor, he's ignoring us." Celestia pouts.

"I figured that, dear." The Doctor says.

"There is still the matter of the unknown scan results. I'm considering my response." Rosm says.

"Take your time, ROSM, old chap. Take your time." The Doctor says.

"Airlock connection achieved. Unknown particles now dispersed to minimal levels. You will accompany Roving Assault Unit One into the base." Rosm says.

"Can I have my sonic screwdriver back?" The Doctor asks.

"I have analysed its capabilities and can now counteract them. You may have it back." Rosm says as he gives it back.

"You're too kind." The Doctor says, sarcastically.

"Luckily he doesn't know my capabilities." Celestia tells The Doctor telepathically. "We would have a problem, then."

"Yes, dear. That's why you need to keep your powers hidden." The Doctor says. "We may need them later."

"Of course." Celestia says.

A door opens as The Doctor and Celestia enter, holding each other's hand.

"Dark and foreboding. I'm beginning to feel right at home." The Doctor says, sarcastically.

"Yeah tell me about it." Celestia rolls her eyes. The RAU 1, other robot, wheezes up. Rosm speaks through it.

"You will remain in the light of the entrance while I attempt physical interface with the base's computer systems." Rosm says.

"Oh, back to Billy Goat Gruff, are we? Off you go, then." The Doctor says. Then RAU 1 leaves.

"Charley! Charley, can you hear me? Charley?" Celestia asks. "Where are you?" Celestia whispers. RAU 1 returns.
