"We are approaching the place. Are you ready to descend?" Vincenzo said, making everyone look at him.

"And see the remains of my beloved? Of course I am." Orsino says.

"We have not much time." Vincenzo says.

"Perhaps this isn't very practical. I mean, do you really believe you can do anything if, if, when you find her?" Celestia questions.

"She might not be too pleased at you waking her up, you know? Why don't we try something else? We could pool our resources." The Doctor says.

"Churchwell, how have you stood spending time with these fools?" Orsino questions.

"We could find out who's still here in Venice. Our ship is quite large inside, and we could" Charley cuts The Doctor off.

"Doctor, they aren't listening to you." She says.

"They have to. They're sailing into an even worse situation." Celestia answers for him.

"I've got to try and make them see sense. Things are bad enough without them opening graves." The Doctor says.

"You two know something, don't you?" Charley questions.

"They're not going to like what they find, and I don't think it's going to help anyone if Orsino leads us all down into the clutches of the High Priest and his cult." The Doctor says.

"We'll have to go with him. He'll make us. We're never going to get out again, are we?" Charley asks again.

"Don't worry, I'll think of something, you'll see." The Doctor says. "Celestia, are you worried?"

"Nah." She shakes her head. "I trust you with my life."

"Wonderful. Burning torches and leaping shadows. This is more like it." The Doctor says. "Here, Celestia, Charley, cop hold of these torches and follow me." He tells the girls as he takes the Celestia's hand and start walking.

"I know you're just acting all casual in order to reassure me, Doctor." Charley says.

"Am I?" The Doctor asks.

"You're trying to make it seem like a great adventure." Charley points out.

"You're right." He admits.

"It is a great adventure." Celestia denies.

"Really, you're as worried as I am." Charley realizes from their behaviour.

"Just a bit. I don't like putting myself nor Celestia in the hands of people as obsessed as this." The Doctor says.

"It makes me jumpy." Celestia mutters. "Pietro, how are you doing?"

"Petrified for my life." He says.

"Well look, at least Orsino and the others have gone ahead first. Nothing can harm us." The Doctor reassures.

"You don't believe that? We're walking down a tunnel into a tomb." Charley says.

"Just think of it all as some kind of phantasm, a peculiar dream you're having." The Doctor says as he squeezes Celestia's hand. He's afraid too but he doesn't show it for her sake.

"That works, does it?" Charley asks.

"Why do you think I'm always so calm and collected?" The Doctor questions.
