"Doctor! Celestia!" Charley shouts
"Ow, that hurt." Celestia says.
"Are you alright?" The Doctor looks at her, worry in his eyes.
"Yes, sweetheart." Celestia nods. "What about you?"
"I'm fine as well." The Doctor smiles at her, taking her hand.
"If we had desired your death, Doctor, Celestia, you would be dead. We will feed on you now." The Nimon says.
"Yes, masters. Take the binding energy of their forms. Feast on their wretched corpses. I shall prepare the hornèd goblet." Grayle encourages.
"Not very technological." Charley says.
"The binding energy oscillator." The Nimon says.
"It's not a goblet at all, but a product of their psionic technology." Celestia mutters.
"The Nimon rely on the design sense of other races. I should have realised. There were so many clues." The Doctor shakes his head.
"I should have realised too." Celestia sighs. "Sorry I couldn't be more useful."
"Don't say that." The Doctor shakes his head.
"I have it here in this. But Martin gave it to me! I placed it in this bag! And the gold coins, the jewelled scabbard, centuries of treasure, they're, they're all gone!" Grayle exclaims, a bit angry.
"It seems someone else shares your love of money, Grayle." The Doctor says.
"And now he will hopefully be far from here." Lucy says.
"Your papa isn't your papa either, is he?" Charley asks.
"The two of us have seen me married to some of the richest men in the country, and left them all at the altar while we take what you might call our dowry." Lucy explains.
"I thought he didn't look much like Richard Martin." Celestia says.
"But, my masters." Grayle is interrupted by The Nimon.
"Find him, you fool. Find the oscillator." The Nimon says.
"Immediately, masters." Grayle says as he runs off.
"Oh dear, poor Nimon. Can't you feed without it?" Celestia looks at the alien with pity.
"We can still kill you." The Nimon says.
"Yes, but then you don't get your takeaway dinner, and you need all your energy after passing through a black hole, don't you?" The Doctor intervenes before the alien could do something to Celestia. "How long before you have to retreat back to the last planet you've butchered?" He asks.
"We have enough energy to" Nimon says as he attacks The Doctor again.
"Doctor!" Celestia shouts.
"I don't call that very hard. It was like being thumped by a wet sock. You're weak as a kitten." The Doctor mocks.
"Doctor, stop it." Celestia narrows her eyes at him.
"In moments, you will feel our strength." The Nimon says.
"If you say so. Meanwhile, you don't mind if I take a look inside this pod of yours, do you?" The Doctor asks, moving to examine the pod. "Ah, you've changed the design. Self-directional, that's a nice touch. The power came from Grayle's machine, of course, but still." He remarks.
"Doctor, Celestia, what are these creatures?" Charley asks them.
"The Nimon are like interstellar locusts, going from planet to planet and absorbing their energy." The Doctor explains.
