"They're all around us." Frayling said, looking around with shock.
"Massing for the kill. They've been waiting for this for a very long time." The Doctor explained.
"They mean to make this meal last." Celestia finished off.
"See what we've done, Rathbone? See what we've done?" Tamworth asked repeatedly.
"This is, this is not how it was supposed to be." Rathbone shook his head.
"Pick yourself up, man. You've got your war, now fight it." Tamworth urged.
"Well, don't just stand there, you men. Might not be half the man I was back in 1917, but I didn't die then and I'm not starting now. After me. Present arms." Weeks said as they ean towards them. They clicked their guns. "And..." He said.
"Have you gone completely mad? They're coming from all directions. You risk hitting the airship if you start firing now." Charley said, trying to reason.
"Were you at the Somme, Miss Pollard?" Weeks said.
"Oh." Charley paused for a minute.
"No? Believe me. I like this even less than you. Fire!" He commanded.
"No!" Charley shouted. However, they didn't listen to her and started shooting.
"That's just stupid. Tamworth, will you tell those men to stop firing?" The Doctor said, letting go of Celestia and approaching to Tamworth, trying to get him to stop this.
"What's the point, Doctor?" Tamworth questioned, looking directly into his eyes. "Look, one falls, another three take its place."He tried to reason. Then he saw Rathbone. "Rathbone, what's the matter with you? Get up." He yelled at him.
"All over. All over." Rathbone said, not paying attention.
"Rathbone? He's broken, Tamworth. You know, I wonder if the Uncreator Prime hasn't been using him, affected his mind to ensure he'd shoot the Lawgiver. Poor fellow." The Doctor said.
"I don't think he's a poor fellow but whatever." Celestia said telepathically.
"No one deserves something like that, Scarlet." He answered back almost immediately.
"But he does." Celestia rejected. The Doctor was going to ask her the reason for her hehaviour towards Rathbone but Tamworth spoke first.
"Pity the rest of us, Doctor." Tamworth said.
"Cease firing." Weeks ordered as shots stopped. "Company, withdraw. Fall back to the ship."
"You can't just retreat! You can't just leave the Doctor, Celestia, and the others to die." Charley said immediately.
"Why am I reminded of Rorke's Drift here?" The Doctor asked no one in particular.
"Rorke's Drift, Doctor? This is Custer's Last Stand." Tamworth said.
"No, no, no, it's more like Rorke's Drift, at least this is just how I remember." The Doctor talked to himself again.
"Argh! You filthy blighter, get back. Back! Back! Get back, I say." Tamworth commanded as a Triskele grunted.
"Did you see that? Tamworth, the creature, it's scared of you." Celestia pointed out.
"Scared? I should bloody well hope it's scared." Tamworth said with a pride in his voice.
"Again, man, again." The Doctor shook his head.
"You creatures, back. I order you, back. I'll have your gizzards if you don't get back!" Tamworth shouted.
