"I haven't been very bright, have I?" The Doctor says. Celestia decides to give him the silent treatment.
"Bright enough to find the Professor. I'm obliged." Glory says.
"What do you get out of all of this?" The Doctor asks.
"She has come to bring me home." Stepashin understands.
"Is that not a good place to be?" Glory questions.
"Hah! Home to your Gulags, your camps. This is the future that Mother Russia offers me." Stepashin says.
"Come, we must get out of here. Walk, please." Glory says. Then they all start walking. Celestia refuses to hold The Doctor's hand because she's so angry at him.
"I'm sorry." The Doctor tells the Time Lady telepathically, who has been awfully silent. "I know I should have listened to your instincts but I got caught up in all these and forgot what you said."
"You were going to defect." Celestia says, instead of answering The Doctor, making him sigh.
"I do not know the term." Stepashin says.
"We suspected the Professor was planning to extend his trip to the United States a little. It is important that such a mind as his remain within the Soviet Union." Glory says.
"But you lost him, didn't you?" The Doctor says, deciding not to say anything to the Time Lady for a while to avoid an argument.
"Somebody made away with him, yes. We decided to try any means of discovering his whereabouts, even down to hiring disgusting Capitalist private detective! No offence, Mr Halliday." Glory says.
"None taken, I'm not Halliday, he's dead." The Doctor admits finally.
"Then it seems we have both been playing games." Glory says.
"Shh!" The Doctor says.
"But you don't understand. Neither of you can. This is no longer about politics. What is in that room will change the world." Stepashin says.
"Alien technology, we know." Celestia says.
"Yes, and already I have used it to advance my studies in atomic fission. It will be of incredible benefit to Mankind." Stepashin says.
"Or finish off Mankind altogether." The Doctor says.
"Not just the wonderful machines of these space creatures, one of the creatures themselves." Stepashin explains.
"What?" The Doctor asks.
"Back there, back there in the tank." Stepashin tries to show.
"This is all to the good." Glory says, laughing. "Now I shall return the Professor to Moscow, along with his astounding trinkets."
"I imagine they're pretty heavy. How do you propose?" The Doctor's question is cut off by her again.
"Once we are out of here, I shall make contact with my people. They will arrive in force." Glory explains. "Now, through here, if you please." She says as she opens the metal door.
"What is this?" Stepashin asks.
"Well, well. I've seen some secret headquarters in my time. A headquarters inside the Brooklyn Bridge." The Doctor says.
"Most ingenious." Stepashin says.
"Ingenious indeed. Discreet, and yet handy for town." Celestia says.
"There is no time for this. The Professor and I must be going. To the victor, the spoils, eh? In this case, the Soviet Union. Doctor, Celestia, you two are free to go." Glory says.
