The Doctor, Celestia and Charley were running from people who were chasing them. The Doctor was holding Celestia's hand as tight as possible fearing that if he let go even for a second, they would just shoot her.

"They're not exactly what you'd call grateful, are they?" Charley questioned. "They should thank us. All we've done is start a bit of a revolution, unshackled the underdogs, stirred them up a bit, haven't we?" She asked but neither of the Time Lords replied. "Doctor? Celestia?"

"Hmm?" The Doctor asked, not paying enough attention.

"I was saying, Doctor, we've tried to help them and now they're shooting at us!" Charley exclaimed.

"That's often the way." Celestia laughed.

"Are you all right?" Charley asked The Doctor, who was unbelievably silent today.

"I was just thinking." The Doctor told her. "How about a trip to Venice, Celestia?" He asked to the Time Lady, making her blink.

"What?" Celestia asked.

"Look, we're in imminent danger of being shot to smithereens and" Charley said but The Doctor interrupted.

"I know you fancy it." The Doctor told Celestia, ignoring Charley. "It popped into my head." He sais as people who were chasing them yell at them, telling them to stop.

"Run, Doctor!" Charley urged him.

"They're not exactly grateful for our help, are they?" The Doctor asked.

"I just said. Oh, why do I bother? Are people ever?" Charley asked, annoyed.

"Yes, sometimes." Celestia said.

"Oh, good for him. Now how about getting us away from here before they tell us outright how pleased they were for freeing all their slaves and closing down their weaponry installations." Charley said.

"That's what I'm trying to do, Charley. I'm attempting to save our necks, find the Tardis and plan our next trip all at the same time. I may have overextended myself." The Doctor said.

"I rather think you have." Charley said.

"This way." The Doctor said as he led them to another corner. There was an explosion near by. "There she is. There she is, Bright, bold, beautiful and bright blue, waiting for us." He admired The Tardis for a second before saying. "Now, where's the key?"

"Wait for it, Doctor." Celestia said as she summoned her own key and handed it to The Doctor.

"You're brilliant." The Doctor beamed at her, making her laugh too.

"Will you hurry up?" Charley asked, annoyed.

"Turn around and drop your weapons!" The man that followed them finally caught up with them.

"Celestia, Charley, quickly, inside." The Doctor said as he forced them to go inside. "And as for you lot. I don't carry weapons. I don't need them. And I must say, I think you treat your visitors here in a very shabby manner indeed. In fact" The Doctor's ramble was cut off by Celestia.

"Oh Doctor, get in!" Celestia said as she pulled him inside The Tardis, closing the door behind them. The men outside started firing.

"What a terrible lot." The Doctor said as he walked up to the console. "Just because we put an end to their reign of terror. Didn't they know that's what we do?"

"I don't think they do." Celestia said as she shook her head, laughing.

"There's nothing I like more than putting the kibosh on a really good vile regime." The Doctor said.
