Distant sounds of panic and chaos are heard.

"The city is falling down around your ears. Listen. Forget your petty squabbles now." The Doctor warned the men around him.

"But where has she gone? What have you done? Vincenzo, what have you done with her?" Orsino questioned.

"Blasphemy. Someone has removed the blessed revenants." Vincenzo denied.

"Forget about that. We'll all be revenants soon." Celestia said, knowingly.

"I tried to warn you, Your Grace. I tried to tell you." Churchwell said.

"Venice dies, and with the dawn comes a new age." Orsino said.

"A new age without your precious Estella. What are you going to do without her?" Charley asked him.

"Charley, leave them be." Pietro warned her.

"We looked. We saw she had gone. We tried to warn you." Churchwell said.

"You knew, Churchwell? You knew she had been stolen?" Orsino questioned in disbelief.

"The Doctor. He made me open the casket. He forced me to look inside, the ghoul. All we saw was dust." Churchwell said, trying to prove that he was innocent.

"Did you seriously just say that Churchwell?" Celestia looked at him pointedly.

"Is this true, Doctor?" Orsino asked the Time Lord this time.

"Well, yes, I was interested. I only had a peep." The Doctor said, honestly.

"You knew she was gone and you still let me come here?" Orsino questioned him. "Wait. Where is the necklace? Where are her jewels? Vincenzo, you scourge. What have you done with her jewels?" He asked Vincenzo.

"The answer seemed so plain to me. Why hadn't we foreseen this?" Vincenzo asked.

"What are you talking about, man?" Orsino asked, confused.

"Let's start backing away very carefully." The Doctor said in a whisper to the girls.

"She has already risen." Vincenzo said, making the priests gasp. "She is alive again. Already she has left her tomb, and walks among us."

"No! It cannot be!" Orsino denied, shouting.

"All of you, listen to me. My people are attacking in force. This is their morning, their moment of revenge. We must hurry away from here or they'll kill us all." Pietro warned as they heard swords clash in the distance amid sound of panic.

"They're taking the place by storm. We'll have to get out of here." The Doctor said as he started walking, pulling Celestia with him.

"Sweetheart, I think we're going the wrong way." Celestia said, not realizing what she called him.

"No, we're not." The Doctor denied. He was surprised to hear her call him sweetheart but he didn't say anything about it because if he did, she would never say something like that ever again.

"Doctor, this way." Charley pointed out.

"See, I told you." Celestia grinned, cheekily.

"Everyone stop fighting each other. What's the matter with you?" The Doctor tried to reason with the men.

"You'll never convince them, Doctor." Pietro said.

"But this isn't the way." The Doctor shook his head.

"Look, follow Orsino. He's heading for the barge." Charley said, pointing to Orsino.

"Out of my way." Orsino said.
