Lloyd searched his assigned area, describing Tanya to everyone he met. He finally got to a neighborhood street corner where all the street kids hungout.  He didn't think any of them was over sixteen but he could tell that they were already beaten down by life.  This was clearly a crime infested area.  Lloyd described Tanya and right off the bat he could tell that they knew something.

One of the boys left telling the others that he was going to get some cigarettes.  Lloyd  took that as a  a secret signal  and so he thanked them for their time and drove off, only to come back  from a different direction and enter the store a block down the road. The boy was waiting for him as he suspected; he looked no more than fifteen and he seemed anxious.  He kept looking around as if he was afraid to be caught talking to Lloyd.

"I am not a cop; the  girl I am looking for is my sister in law.  What's  your name?" Lloyd asked.

The boy smiled a smile that did not reach his eyes.  "I am no fool," he said.

"You in school?" Lloyd asked.

"I have no use for that," He answered.

"Where is the girl?" Lloyd asked.

"She wid Johnny; him se he find her on the road,  but Johnny no right in the head and he has a bad temper; be careful wid him," the boy said. He told Lloyd where Johnny lived with his mother and sisters.   Lloyd believed him.  Lloyd gave the boy some money and he took off. If someone knew he snitched life would change very quickly for him and anyone related to him.

Lloyd relayed the information to Eric and Jimmy.   Eric arrived  in record  time and Lloyd wondered how the fuck Eric got there so quick driving that truck.  He must have torn up the  road  getting  there so quickly.   And soon thereafter Jimmy and two detectives joined them. Jimmy and his  men wanted to take control of the situation, but Eric would not hear of it.  He insisted on being there when they  find his wife.

"Anyone touch her is dead," Eric told Jimmy.

"No Aya! You are not killing anyone; we will find out what the hell happen; It could be that boy saved her life," Jimmy said.

Jimmy and his men surround the house where Tanya was. Jimmy approached the door gun in hand and kicked the door in.  And  there was Tanya sitting in the midst of a group of people eating.

Tanya jumped up at seeing Jimmy. "Jimmy? What are you doing?"

"We found your car; what happened?" Jimmy asked.

"I went for a drive and just kept going. I think the car ran out of gas and Johnny here found me walking to get help. He thought that I was about to have the baby and he brought me to his mother.  These people have been nothing but good to me," Tanya said smiling at Johnny.

By this Jimmy holstered back his gun and waved in Eric and Lloyd.

But Johnny was not having it. He thought that Tanya was his. "I find her she mine," he told everyone.

"You ok?" Eric asked Tanya, eying  the boy named Johnny.   Eric kept his eye on Johnny.

"Yes everyone been very nice to me," Tanya said.

"Where you sleep last night? Eric asked looking around the one room house. He had no idea how people lived like this.

Tanya did not answer.  She wondered what he was implying.

"Tanya, get your stuff and lets go," Eric said.

Johnny stepped in and blocked Eric's way. "Tanya is mine; me find her," he told Eric again.
