Chapter 48. Coming Full Circle

Back at home they headed up the stairs, Tanya giggling, from a little too much wine. They stopped at Eric's room on the second floor.  

"I enjoyed tonight," she said.

Eric  pushed  her hair away from her face.  "Me too; it was a lot of fun."  

'What now?'   "Stay with me tonight." he said.

Tanya giggled. She hiccupped and for a split second that simple sound pushed a memory to the surface of his mind. 'What was  that? A memory of Tanya?' 

"Eric you okay?" Tanya asked.

"Yes I am okay."

"Let me go change and look in on Ericka; I'll be right back," She said. 

Becky came down the stairs and looked at them suspisciously. "Ericka is asleep in your bed; you know how she is when it thunders," Becky said.

Eric was already in his bed when Tanya returned.  He was naked from the waist up....and her imagination got the better of her as she wondered what he was hiding beneath the covers. Tanya got a new surge of energy just seeing her tatooed dreadloc man sprawled out waiting for her.    She was amazed that he remained so fit after his accident....there was not a flab in sight. "So you are afraid of thunder too?" Tanya asked as she crawled over to him.   She was still a little tipsy from drinking the couple glasses of wine.

"Very much so," Eric said.

He was not expecting  her to change into her pajamas.  He was hoping for one of those sexy lingerie she had been wearing.   He didn't know how  to read  the PJ bit.   He didn't want  to push her  into doing anything.  He wanted her to call the shots.   "Do you want to just talk and  cuddle?"

Tanya laughed. "What are you afraid of? Me?"

"After those moves on the dance floor, yes....what was it like our first time together?" he asked.

Tanya got very emotional as she recalled their first time together. "It was a story book moment; you were magnificent. Four months after we got married, that was how long it took for me to get up the courage to sleep with you. I was scared, but you took time and care with me that night," Tanya said.

He could not believe what he was hearing. "Are you saying we never had sex until four months into the marriage?"

Tanya nodded. "Why does that surprise you?"

'I must have loved her very much' "Well that is not typical; why were you scared?"

"My high school friends told me me horror stories and ...."

"And what?" he asked.

"Well you were no novice to sex....I was afraid that I would disappoint you," Tanya said.

"Well we are not waiting four months this time around,"

He expertly flipped her onto her back, using one arm. He removed her PJ top. "Anything you dont like......let me know,"
