Chapter 26. Guarding The Princess

"What do we do about her?" Lloyd asked.

"Shoot the bitch," Eric said.

"Dont you think we should find out what she knows?" Lloyd whispered.

"Right now, I dont fucking care what she knows; I care about what she did....to my baby," Eric said.

"Ok, I will question her some more, then shoot her; is that what you want?" Lloyd asked.

The woman claimed that the baby was asleep and no drug was administered. She begged Eric not to hurt her.

"Take the baby and get in the fucking truck; we need to get her back to the hospital and we are not taking this bitch with us," Eric said to Lloyd.

"What are you going to do?"Lloyd asked.

Eric tied the woman to a nearby street sign. He then pulled out his gun and shot the woman in both legs. The woman screamed out in pain. "Now sit your ass right there until the police comes," Eric said.

"That was  fucking gangster; I cant believe you shot her and leave her there to bleed out, " Lloyd said.

"You save her; I was going to put a bullet to her fucking head, but you are right; we could learn more from her about who hired her and then both her and that fucker are dead," Eric said.

Lloyd looked over at his brother. 'This has driven him over the edge'

Lloyd called Jimmy and told him where the woman was. Eric knew Jimmy was going to get on his case about taking the law in his own hand but he did not care. He was so angry at the woman. He wished he could follow through with the plot to see who would pick up the bag, but he needed to get the baby back to the hospital for a thorough check. He was not done with that bitch. No one abduct his kid and live to talk about it, Eric thought.

Back at the hospital Tanya was freaking out. Jimmy was interogating her as if she was the culprit.  Eric walked in as Jimmy questioned Tanya and Eric was mad.

He gave the baby to Tanya and she was just hugging her and crying.

"Why the fuck are you still here? I told you where the the bitch is who abducted my daughter," Eric lashed out at Jimmy.

"I sent someone to pick her up; but he just radio back and said that the suspect needed medical attention from gun shot wounds; care to tell me what happened Eric," Jimmy asked.

"Suspect? How the fuck is she a suspect when we caught her red handed taking off with my new born baby," Eric asked.

The Pediatrician came in and Eric turned his attention from Jimmy to the doctor. "What kind of a place is this that someone can just walk in and take a baby and walk out? We are not staying at this hospital one more night," Eric said.

"I understand Mr. Willbrooks, but we will need to do a complete blood work up on your daughter just to make sure that this woman did not administer any drug to the child and we need to monitor her at least overnight; I will send someone in to get blood," he said.

The baby was just screaming her head off as they tried to get blood from her. She was as red as a tomato from screaming and Eric just teared up as he held her down so they could get the blood. Tanya was crying silently. Eric looked over at Jimmy. "You see what this bitch has put this kid through and you are asking me why the fuck I shot her," Eric asked.
