Chapter 37. Breaking Away

Tanya  accepted an invitation to have dinner with Neil and his friends.  The relationship with Neil had evolved into a friendship, than anything else.   Tanya was running late and she  hurried down the pathway of the restaurant to the table where the group was waiting.   

Eric caught sight of  her.  'It can't be'   He could not believe what he was seeing. 'Is that Tanya?'  She was turning heads left and right. She looked so stunning even him got caught up in the moment, hypnotized by his wife.   

'Who was Tanya meeting up with?' Eric wondered. He hoped it was fucking Luke. Lola asked what was the matter. Eric told her nothing.  It was Lola's  birthday and he offered to take her to dinner after they finished work. The girl had no family on the island, he thought why not.  He did not expect to see Tanya there.   

Eric thought that maybe Tanya was meeting Sharon or one of her friends from school for dinner. Eric kept looking over in Tanya's direction and he could swear she looked right back at him.  Her dress couldn't be any tighter and it beautifully accentuated all her curves....and that ass.  Her head full of natural curls flowed loosely all over her head and down her back. Tanya put on the sexiest walk she could muster and wine her ass over to  Neil  and his friends.

"What the fuck?" Eric said out loud when he saw who she was meeting.

Neil's mouth dropped open as he watched Tanya walked to ward him.  He was stunned into silence.....Tanya smiled and cleared her throat and  Neil dropped back to earth. He quickly introduced Tanya to the other peole in the group.

"No fucking way?" Eric said. Lola was looking at Eric strangely and kept asking if he was ok. Eric did not hear a word she said.

"You look stunning my dear,"Neil said with a wide grin.  

Tanya smiled; her mind was elsewhere.   Tanya wondered what Eric would do. She was shock to see Eric there and who was the girl with him? She thought that she looked familiar but could not place her.  She didn't care anymore. She hoped he said or did something because she was ready for war, too bad that Neil would get caught up into it. 

Before she could even get settled in her seat, Eric left his table and walked over.   Neil  looked surprised to see Eric. "What's up man; want to join us?" Neil asked. Eric didn't answer.

"What the fuck is going on here?" Eric asked much too calmly.

"What could be going on in a public restaurant but eating?" Tanya said

"Indeed," said one of Neil's friend.  The guy was built like a wrestler.  Tanya thought that he might be Neil's body guard. 

"Where is the baby?" Eric asked.

"Ericka? She is with Becky; she is just fine," Tanya said with the biggest grin.

"How did you get here?" Eric asked.

"I drove," she said.

"Okay, I will take you home, leave your car here; lets go." Eric said in a deceptively calm tone.

But Tanya was not fooled. "I just got here; I am not ready to leave." She told him.

"Yes you are, don't bother to order anything," he said between clenched teeth.

Tanya asked him if he was going to take her and his girlfriend in the same car and which one of them he was going home with.  Neil  and his friends caught on to what was going on. Neil smiled and offered to take the girl off Eric's hand.

Eric was beyond pissed. "I dont see what is so blood cloth funny about you being on a date with my wife," Eric told Neil.

Neil smiled but it did not reach his eyes.  "A date? You are looking at a bunch of people about to have dinner; looks to me like  you are the one on an intimate date  with that girl over there." He seemed to be enjoying this confrontation with Eric way too much.  Tanya realized that this had suddenly turned into a pissing contest between the two of them.
