Chapter 30. Her Exquisite "Bastille"

Tanya was more beautiful than ever. She had gained a few pounds in all the right places. Since she had Ericka she gained a level of self confidence that she lacked as a young girl. Eric was fascinated with her legs at one time now it was her ass. He couldn't help staring at it every time she passed by him. He desired her yet he despised her for what  their relationship had become.  

With the birth of their daughter came a new chapter in their life. Eric vowed no more sex with his wife Tanya, how ironic to not want intimacy with the one woman he loved.  He had to admit that women to him were like what cryptonite was to superman. He was trying to stay clear of them.    He decided that he would be a  husband to Tanya  in every sense except in the bedroom.   

As much as Tanya expressed her need to be close to him, the farther away Eric stayed from her as he tried desperately to hide the love and desire he felt for her. And then there was the whole issue with Mila and his mother. His Mother insisted on keeping Mila's  kid, saying that she had no choice. She wanted Eric to sign off that he fathered Mila's baby in order to put her up for adoption and Eric refused to do that without a paternity test, which Sahita refused to have done.  

Mila wanted nothing to do with the kid; the more Eric thought of it, the more convinced he was that they played him; that kid was not his...no fucking way, he thought. How the fuck could he trust another woman again? Life was hell. His heart was restless; he missed what he had with Tanya but could not get to where he could forgive her and trust her again; yet he could not let her leave him.

Their beautiful beach front home was finally completed. With a whole lot of pressure on the right people and some kickback Eric won the bid on the beach front property that was intended for a high end resort on the west coast tip of the island.  He knew Tanya would love the location and how private it was  and he did everything in his power including paying a hefty price over the market value to ensure he got the property.  It was not the moon he promised her, but it was pretty damn close, he thought.

Eric built a beautiful three story Mediterranean mansion. It came complete with two swimming pools, one on the roof top for Tanya's convenience and pleasure. He knew how much she loved swimming but preferred a pool to the beach. 

With no set budget, Tanya set out to decorate the house.  Tanya had no clue how powerful and wealthy her young husband had become.  He made some lucrative investments.   And his partnership with his Uncle Linden was  a cash cow and never a topic for discussion with anyone including Tanya. 

Tanya was happy to move to the new house. It was more secure, so with the move came more freedom to move about the property incuding taking daily walks on the beach with Ericka. There was a beautifully decorated little girl's room just waiting for Ericka on the second floor but Tanya decided to keep her in the nursery close to her suite.  

The master suite was privately secluded on the third floor on the east wing of the house.  Tanya couldn't believe that Eric remembered everything she told him as a young girl. All her wishes and dreams were beautifully captured in the space. There was a wrap around balcony off the master suite which she absolutely adored and right off the balcony were stairs leading up to a roof top garden and pool area with a spectacular panoramic ocean view. She could watch the sun rise as well as the beautiful sunsets with the ocean as the backdrop or watch the stars from the roof top garden.   Daphne told Tanya not to be fooled by the house because it would no doubt become her prison.

Eric and Tanya each had their own office. Hers on the third floor near her suite and his on the first floor. He also built a state of the art music studio and music library. He told her that was his sanctuary and on the door, was written 'NO WOMEN ALLOWED.'
