Y/N's P.O.V.

You sighed happily while the clouds cast a dark shadow over the palace. Worries floated away and became nothing but faint memories. A life filled with bliss and word for unawareness filled your days. It was times like these that made you understood why a majority of little girls wanted to grow up to become princesses. Or so you thought.

"Ah, Y/N, I've been looking for you!"

You turned and smiled at Namjoon. Jin had put him in charge of handling social event's that you and Yoongi were to be attending together. Namjoon wasn't like Jin so conversations were more relaxing.

"What new event did he find for us to attend now?" You chuckled.

"Actually... This is your event. Jin insisted that now the two of you are closer, that we hold a more grand introduction for our King and Queen."

Your face heated up at his words but you pushed the thoughts back.

"So what, the wedding and his crowning ceremony wasn't enough?" You laughed.

"You know Jin. All he's trying to do is give you guys a good face with the public."

"I know, I know. So when is this big event happening?"

"Erm, tonight actually." He nervously chuckled.

"Tonight!? Is he crazy? How come I'm only now hearing about this? No wonder I couldn't find Taehyung..." You whispered the last part.

He shrugged and left you with a lists of guest who were going to be in attendance. You quickly scanned over the list for anyone you knew but no one stood out. Just a bunch of important old people and business partners.

You didn't know any of them personally but when you were taking classes with Yoongi, a few of the people on the guest list just so happened to be the ones you studied about.

You sighed and decided to go see what Yoongi was doing. Ever since that night, you found yourself with Yoongi a lot. Yeun-Sul didn't fail to notice and quite frankly, you were rubbing it in her face.

You opened the door to Yoongi's room and slowly walked in. He wasn't even inside so you decided to just wait for him. He would be back from wherever he was. He always went to his room when he came back.

"What's the point of having a whole palace if you're gonna spend most of the time in one room. Couldn't he have just settled for a house?" You laughed.

"Well it's not like you can house tons of guests for royal balls in a normal house."

You looked towards the door and rolled your eyes.

"Have you seen the guest list? Crazy how Jin can just get that many people in such a short notice to come here."

"They're rich. What did you expect." He shrugged. "Besides, you don't think turning down a royal invitation from me would be rude." He asked while leaning up against the desk.

You walked over to him played with the hem of his shirt. "I couldn't imagine why someone wouldn't want to see the King. Why, you are only just the most important person in the whole kingdom." You teased.

He grabbed your arms and wrapped the around his neck.

"That's right. And as your King, I order you to have the first dance with me."

"If you insist." You smiled.

A smile spread across his face as he wrapped his arms around your waist and spun you around the room. It wasn't long before the two of you lost your balance and fell on top of each other.
