Y/N's P.O.V.

It's been two weeks. Two weeks since you were stuck in the palace. Two weeks since Hoseok had helped you escape. Two weeks since you had seen your parents. You had no idea how they were doing. The capital was on lockdown supposedly. They said that a criminal was on the loose and that it would be better if no one entered or left the capital. You knew it was a lie though. The news had become your new best friend. It was the only way you could keep track of everything.

School had started up again. It's not like you could go. People would know where you were if you went to school. It was tiring not being able to go outside though.

"The prince has officially announced that the press conference will be held next week."

So, now the prince decided to address this problem... He should have said something earlier.

You sighed and turned off the TV. You peaked at the clock and saw that it was almost time for Hyojin's mom, Mrs. Kang, to drop off your dinner. You waited for her at the door and let her in when she arrived.

"Thank you again for helping me."

"It's not a problem. I know how much you mean to your parents." She said softly.

You set the plate of food down on the table and sat down. You stared at the food and thought of your parents. A small tear rolled down your face.

Mrs. Kang noticed and pulled up a chair next to yours.

"Tell me what's wrong."

"I don't know what to do. I feel bad that I caused all of these problems. I... I feel so hopeless. I just want everything to go back to normal." You cried.

" 'Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like'. Do you know who said that?"

"No."

"Lao Tzu. You should accept that this is your life now."

You wiped your eyes and sat up straight.

"You're right. I should be doing something about this, not waiting for something to happen."

"So, what are you going to do?"

"The most unpredictable thing ever. Hoseok's sister gave me some information that could be helpful. I could use it to my advantage." You tell her.

"I don't know who Hoseok or his sister is but if you trust them, then go ahead."

There you were, standing in the bushes a couple of feet away from the palace. This seemed like a stupid idea but for you, it was worth it. You needed your family to be safe. With a heavy sigh, you clenched the file holder in your sweaty hands and stepped out onto the main road.

The fake yet realistic-looking visitors note was being to slightly crumble in your hands. With shaky steps, you moved forward to the main gate. As soon as the gatekeeper saw you, you were stopped.

"What is your business here, Stranger?"

"I, um... Have a visitors note to see, um... Her Royal Highness." You said while holding out the note for him to see.

He glanced down at it and stepped inside the gatekeeper booth. "I'll have to check in with Her Majesty first."

Fear shot through your body. What if you were rejected entrance? Agent J.K could see you and take you back to the dungeon. Everything could go wrong at this minute. Your body was heating up and you felt your forehead burning. The gatekeeper came back out and studied you for a second.

"You can go in. There's a sign for visitors to get to Her Majesty. Follow the path up to the visitor's entrance." He said while unlocking the gate.

You thanked him and quickly walked past him and onto the palace grounds. Listening to his instructions, you followed the way to meet the Queen. Every second that passed made you even more nervous to meet her.

It wasn't long before you stood at the big doors that led to her room. You slowly brought your hand up to the door and gave it three knocks.

"You may enter."

You pushed the door handles open and walked into the room. The doors closed behind you and you were trapped inside the room. The Queen gasped when she recognized you and was about to say something until you stopped her.

"I have a proposition to make."
