Y/N's P.O.V.

To have a quiet and simple life was all you ever expected for your future. Being involved in drama wasn't really your thing. Since you were born you could remember your mother and father teaching you about being kind and quiet. Although sometimes you threw their teachings out the window and acted crazy. Eventually, they would find out and would then punish you. The punishment was almost always extra chores around the farm. Like milking cows, which was what you were doing at the moment.

"Y/N! Stop daydreaming and get back to milking. We have to have everything ready for the kingdom harvest!" Yelled mother.

You continued working until everything was done and put on the safe, so no one could steal anything. You walked back to the little cottage and went inside for a drink. Shortly, your mother joined you at the table.

"Can I go to Hyojin's house?" You asked politely.

"Yes, but be home before dinner." She answered.

You quickly thanked her and began the journey to your best friend's house. The walk wasn't too long, a simple trip it was really. You had known Hyojin since you were born and had been best friends ever since. You even went to the same school for your whole entire life. When you had gotten to her house you knocked on the back door instead of the front because you were the only person who knocked there. Faint footsteps were heard before Hyojin herself appeared at the door.

"Y/N? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be helping your parents for the kingdom harvest?"

"One, I wanted to see you. Two, I already finished helping them." You explained.

"Oh, well you can come inside."

You entered the house took your shoes off. Hyojin led you up to her room and you both jumped on the bed and just talked.

"So, are you excited about going to the kingdom harvest again?" Asked Hyojin.

"Surprisingly, not really. I mean, I've been going there ever since I was allowed to go with my parents. It's not as exciting."

"You're lucky though. I have to stay here and look after the animals, while you get to explore the capital! What isn't exciting about that?"

You sighed. "It would be more fun if you were there..."

"Yeah, I wish I could go so badly. A week away from cornfields and cows sounds heavenly." She said dreamily.

"Maybe one day your family would let you go."

A loud bang was heard from the first floor which was the signal that Hyojin's mom wanted to speak both of you. You helped each other off the bed and went downstairs to see Mrs. Kang. She was sitting at the table with her knitting needles in her hands, working on a new project.

"You might want to sit down for this girls." She said not looking up from her job.

"What did you need us for, mom?" Hyojin asked.

"You can go."

"W-what? I can go?" She sputtered.

"I already talked to Mr. and Mrs. Lee about it and they said they had room for one more in their car." Mrs. Kang said with a small smile.

"You talked to my mom and dad? When?" You asked.

"I called them yesterday. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. You should probably start packing."

You and Hyojin squealed all the way upstairs and threw yourselves back on the bed.

"Wow! I can't believe it! Mom is actually letting me go to the capital. What makes even better is that I'm going with my best friend."

"Let's get up so I can help you pack." Excitement was running through your veins.

This was going to be the best Kingdom Harvest ever.

I know I said that I wasn't going to update this until One More Day is over... But I thought that one chapter wouldn't be bad. So here you go.
