Y/N's P.O.V.

Breakfast was certainly an event. Jin had made arrangements for everyone to eat in the courtyard. It was a nice day of course, so why not. You had mixed feelings about the meal though. You didn't feel like talking to King Jang or his pesky daughter but when you saw Yoongi, your mood lifted.

King Jang and Yoongi exchanged hello's as you and Yeun-Sul sat at the table.

"Good morning ladies. Y/N, how did you sleep last night? Pleasant, I hope." Yoongi said while taking a seat beside you.

You rolled your eyes playfully and took a sip from your cup. Yeun-Sul looked confused as she stared at us.

As the food was served Yeun-Sul tried to make conversation with Yoongi but her attempts were in vain. It seemed like he didn't want to talk to her either.

"How did you sleep Yoongi?" She asked while seeming to scoot closer to him.

"Fine."

Cold and blunt. Just as expected.

"I figured so. Your palace is so grand and perfect which is why you slept so well. Although I had a few trouble falling sleep. I was a bit cold. I still am actually. I bet your hands would warm mine up!" She said while starting to reach out.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." You said while taking a bite of your food.

"I- Excuse me?"

"His hands and fingers are cold to the skin. I doubt that would make you feel any less cold. Isn't that right Yoongi?"

He turned in surprise but then smiled playfully. "And how would you know that Y/N?"

"Let's just say from personal experience."

Yeun-Seul could only sit and watch at the two of you playfully conversed. Her hands balled up into fists and you enjoyed every second of it.

"Oh dear Yeun-Seul, you look quite pale. Are you feeling unwell? If you'd like, I can have one of my maids deliver breakfast to you in your room."

"I'm fine." She grumbled.

"If you say so dear."

The rest of the meal carried on quite like that. You tried to get at Yeun-Seul every chance you could. It's what she deserved for making you feel like less than her at her palace. Only this time, this was your palace.

After breakfast, Yoongi was to head out to meet with some people concerning the city. You didn't try to pry into it. Jin said that it wouldn't be anything interesting enough to pay attention to. So now that you were free and alone, King Jang took this chance to pull you into an empty palace room.

"So Y/N, have you thought about my offer? Demands or concerns you'd like to announce?"

You bit you tongue in thought.

"Yes actually... You said Queen Min and Yoongi wouldn't trust you. Why would you tell me that? Who's to say that I don't trust you either?"

He smiled and shook his head. "Queen Min held a grudge against me. I don't know if the grudge was carried over to Yoongi. I've mentioned this arrangement with Yoongi while the both of you were staying with me, but he refused. Instead, he wanted to sign a treaty that I wouldn't attack the kingdom and break ties with a close friend of mine. Naturally I couldn't and he didn't understand the relationship between me and this friend. So I decided to ask you. You of all people know what it's like to stand with someone close to you no matter what. This is why I'm asking you."

"But Yoongi said you refused to sign because he wasn't king yet..."

"Yes that was part of it. I thought that it was simply because he wasn't looking at the matter thought the eyes of a real King, but I was wrong."
