"Its time to wake up miss! Jin has a lot of exciting activities planned for you today!"
You sat up with sleep still fresh on your eyes. Last night was the garden party that had seemed to go on for hours into the night. You had spent the whole evening talking and wearing a fake smile. Nothing was worse than hearing rich people talk about their wealth. If it wasn't for Taehyung, you would have died of boredom. He had come in just at the right time to get you away.
"You can't sit there all morning miss. Jin requires you to be in the ballroom at 9:30."
You rolled your eyes and shook your head. It was probably going to be one of those meetings like last time. You lazily look over at the clock and stared at the numbers. 8:30... That gives me a whole hour to get ready. You pushed the covers back and let the maid help you get ready.
~~~
You had arrived at the door 5 minutes before you were supposed to get there. You gave yourself a mental pat on the back before going in. As you walked in, Jin was walking around the room taking measurements and writing things on his tablet. The door creaked as you shut it causing Jin to turn around instantly.
"Oh, uh, did I disturb you?"
"No, not at all. I was just looking around and getting ready." He said, going back to scanning the room.
"Ready for what?"
He sighed but continued working. "I'm surprised you already forgot. I presumed it would be on your mind the whole time."
"What would be on my mind."
He sighed and turned to glare at you. "Your marriage to the Prince."
Oh... OH.
"I guess you really did forget."
The look of surprise on your face must have given that away. In all honesty, you had forgotten. With all the planning and classes you went to, you had forgotten why you were doing it in the first place. A feeling of doom settled onto your shoulders. You were going to marry the Prince.
"For Pete's sakes kid, it's not like you're selling your soul to the devil. The country yes, but it's not that bad. We're going to be making lots of public appearances today so you better look happy and excited."
"Right... So, uh, what are we doing today anyway?"
As if his plan was to dramatically walk into every room all the time, it was none other than the prince himself. Except this time it was just him.
Really dude? Can I have one conversation without you interrupting me?
"Let's not waste any time Jin. What is Mother forcing me to do today?" H said completely ignoring you. Again.
"Today the Queen has scheduled that you and Y/N will make a public appearance. Nothing Much really. Also you two will be shopping for your wedding."
At first you though you had heard wrong. You and the prince shopping for your wedding together? Nerves filled your body and you shyly glanced towards the Prince. His face remained stone cold as always.
"Is that all?"
"Yes, Prince Yoongi."
Without another word, he walked to the door. He paused before walking out and turned around to stare at you.
"Miss Y/N, correct me if wrong, even though I know i'm not, but I believe Jin said 'we'. Since you look as if you're a lost child that means the both of us."
Your face got hot and your whole body began to prick. You shuffled over to where he was standing and followed him the rest of the way.
~~~
"We have arrived at you selected destination sir."
Jin got out of the car and opened the door for the Prince. As he was helping him get out he whispered something to him and looked around. The prince nodded but clearly seemed annoyed.
You were just about to get out of the car when he grabbed your hand. This took you by surprise and you could feel your ears heating up.
"What's with the face darling? It's a gentleman's job to help his lady out of a car."
You stared at his small smile and tried to speak but nothing came out.
"Come on now, we can't keep everyone waiting."
You nodded and grabbed his hand. As he was helping you out of the car, you couldn't help but notice the sudden change in his behavior. He was more gentle and kind than before. He did a complete turn around and it was confusing the heck out of you. After you got out Jin led you and Yoongi towards a fancy looking wedding store. People and photographers were crowded around the store. The bodyguards cleared a path for everyone to get through safely and soon you were inside.
The whole place was stunning.
But you didn't realize that there was a possibility that you'd have to try on dresses. The people outside watching from behind the windows weren't helping either. You felt like an animal at the zoo but there was no where for you to get away from people's staring eyes.
Soon there was a hostess who came out and greeted everyone. She and Jin talked to each other for a bit before she came out with multiple tuxedos. The lady asked Yoongi to follow her and they went to a changing room down a hall.
While waiting for the Prince to come back you took a seat next to Jin.
"Loosen up kid. I know lots of people are standing outside watching you but you gotta stop looking so tense."
You instantly became aware of how tense you were and tried to relax. You became a little more at ease but not fully like Jin had wanted
Suddenly the Prince had walked out in a nice dark blue tuxedo. He smiled and smoothed it out. Jin looked satisfied and you could hear fangirls screaming from outside.
"No need for me to try on anything else Jin. This one will do."
Jin nodded and the Prince went back to change.
"Is that all for you today?" The hostess asked Jin.
He looked over at you but turned back to the lady and smiled. "Yes, thank you."
You sighed in relief. Today wasn't the day you'd have to try on a dress but everything was certainly moving forward.
