Secretary Jin's P.O.V.

"You called for me, Queen Min?"

The room was cold and the curtains were closed. No maids or butlers were in sight. Even her bodyguards that were normally standing watch outside were gone.

"Are they close to landing yet?"

I looked down at my tablet. They had just given their final check in before landing.

"The final report was just given. They should be clear for landing in 40 minutes."

"Good."

Chills ran down my spin as de javu hit my body. The situation was almost all too familiar.

"The King was a good man. He had pure intentions and never let his mistakes get in his way. I almost looked up to him for that. There are times when I wonder if it was worth it. I'm surprised that you never let it get to you."

A lump formed in my throat and it burned.

"I was simply following Your Majesty's orders."

"See that's what I like about you Jin." She leaned back in her chair and stared into the space behind me. "You never let things get to you and always do as told. You're a strong man and keep your composure. Now, If only Yoongi had been like that... Maybe I wouldn't have to go to such extreme measures. Speaking of which, how are things going with the plan?"

"Everything is going accordingly. I've looked over every possible way to keep the plan moving forward. I think I've found something but I'll have to look into it more..."

"How much longer will you need?"

"One Month. After that, everything will be set into place."

I bit my lip and looked up from my tablet.

"If I may ask... why are you doing this to your son?"

She laughed and shook her head.

"He's never been my son. I would never dare consider the King's mistake as my son. The only reason I agreed to keeping that commoner's child as my own is so the King wouldn't ruin my name."

"What are you saying...? Prince Yoongi isn't your child?"

"Never has been. The King had slept with another woman and got her pregnant. We kept her hidden away from the public until Yoongi was born. I also had to stay out of sight during those months. After Yoongi was born, she was no longer needed in the world. I might have raised Yoongi and gave him all the best tutors and teachers I could find, but never had I ever considered him my own. He's no better than that farmer girl he's married to." She smiled.

My mouth hung open as she told me of Yoongi's real birth. I wanted to drop everything and leave the room. My feet wouldn't allow it though. It was like they were glued to the ground.

"That's not important though. Some people down in the off skirts of town are beginning to question the King's death. I need you to send someone down there and make them quiet. Use any means to get them to shut up. Also, before you leave to join Yoongi, make sure that girl isn't trying to do anything that could get in my way."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

I walked out of the room and quickly closed the door behind me. My thoughts were all mushed together and I couldn't think clearly. The moment I stepped into the office, I locked the door. I sighed and let my body slide down.

This job was killing me slowly. I deserved to die though. After everything I've done... I should die the most slow and painful death.

I looked down at my hands. They shook violently as I brought them closer to my face.

"I'm a murderer..."

Nothing could change what happened on that day. The day I made the kingdom cry...

Because I, Kim Seokjin, killed the King.

Servant Taehyung's P.O.V.

The kitchen was quiet today. No one was here anyways so it's not like the staff would be that busy. I had managed to get away from Jin and had snuck myself into the kitchen to learn a few things that I needed to learn to become a chef. If I was going to make it into the kitchen, I was going to need to learn how to cook like a chef from the kitchen.

I sighed and fell back onto the cool green grass. The sky was a beautiful blue. I sighed and held my notebook close to my chest. It held all my notes I've taken over the years. Tips from chefs who worked in the kitchen were held in this very notebook.

"One day Taehyung. We're going to make it into that kitchen and serve the best meal to Prince Yoongi and Y/N. I'll make everyone eat their words when they see me cooking."

"So you gonna keep daydreaming about it or are you actually going to get up and do it?"

I quickly sat up and smiled. Jungkook was standing over me holding up two banana milks.

"Mind if I stay for a bit?"

I patted the grass beside me and let him sit. Once he was comfortable, he handed me a banana milk and sighed.

"I've had a lot of free time lately. I have even more now that Prince Yoongi and that commoner are gone."

I shook my head at his words.

"She's going to be Queen soon. You should be respectful to the Royal Family weather you like them or not. She's not that bad anyways. I think she's nice. I worry for her though... The palace is such a hard place to live comfortably in. She's already had to change her whole lifestyle and I'm sure your not helping her at all."

"Since when did you care so much for the commoner?" He said looking me up and down.

"Ever since you started harassing her."

"I don't harass her."

I glared at him as I took a sip from the banana milk.

"Don't even try to lie to me Jungkook. You've been harassing her since day one. What do you have against her anyways? She's just a sweet girl."

He was quiet and took a sip from his milk.

"I should get going. Thanks for the milk. I'll repay you sometime."

I got up from the cool grass and looked down on him. I softly smiled at him and pet his head.

"Don't be so hard on her. I'm sure that if you took the time and got to know her, you'd like her too."
