Y/N's P.O.V
No words could possibly describe the feeling in your chest. You sat in front of the mirror and stared at yourself in silence. There you were wearing traditional wedding clothing and makeup getting ready to go out and become Queen. A real life Queen...
But no... That's not what you really saw. Others might see you as a lucky girl who stole everyone's dreams of marrying the prince, or a new view for the kingdom to better the lives of the farmers since you were one yourself. Out of all those things you only saw one thing. A scared little girl who had no idea what she had gotten herself involved in. Tears threatened to spill from your eyes but you refused to let them go. It would ruin the makeup after all.
You sighed and quickly grabbed a tissue to stop the tears. No crying today. It was your job to put on a smiling face and face the kingdom like a Queen. Even if you weren't sure that was what you were. This was for your family after all. If this is what it takes to keep them safe, then it was worth it.
A knock on the door made you turn around. Jin walked in and softly smiled.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes."
Prince Yoongi's P.O.V.
"Well here you are, Yoongi."
Jimin adjust the my robes and made sure I wouldn't trip over them. He sighed and stepped back one he was done.
"Well, what's the plan?" he asked biting his lip in anticipation.
"I don't... have a plan. Yet."
He nodded and handed me my cup of wine that was on my desk. I might have been drinking a bit earlier but I wasn't drunk. I would never make that mistake.
"Make sure you have everything arranged for our trip. We leave at 12 on the dot tomorrow. Also... lock the door from the outside when we come back."
That being said, I handed Jimin the key to my room. He played around with it in his hands before looking up at me.
"What for? Are you planning on something?" He questioned.
"Don't worry about it."
Bodyguard Hoseok's P.O.V.
"So, today is the day it finally happens. The Prince is actually getting married. To be honest I never really thought it would happen." Taehyung said before taking a sip of water.
We were all currently sitting in the kitchen with Taehyung. And by we I meant Me, Taehyung and Jimin. The ceremony was going on as we speak but none of us were needed. Taehyung had offered us a spot to watch the ceremony on the TV so we agreed to it.
"Well it was bound to happen some time. I wonder how Y/N is feeling though. I'm sure this whole "I'm marrying the prince thing is like a Kdrama for her." I said while watching the scene play out on the screen.
Jimin hasn't said anything ever since he got here. All he's been doing is glaring at the screen. I tried talking to him earlier but he only hummed in response. I'm pretty sure Taehyung could tell he was acting weird too. Then again he and Taehyung never really interact with each other.
Right at that moment Jin and his other worker buddy walked in together.
"What are you guys doing in here? I thought you would all be watching the ceremony from the balcony or something." He said addressing Jimin and I.
"There's already a bunch of guards up there. We would only get in the way." Jimin replied monotone.
At that instant, Jin picked up on his attitude and pointed to him with a questioned look. Taehyung and I only shrugged our shoulders.
"In a couple of minutes they'll be officially married." Namjoon said while checking his watch.
It still felt surreal to me. Prince Yoongi would be getting married. Y/N was marrying Yoongi...
Secretary Jin's P.O.V.
The T.V. screen filled the room with sound and light. There was Y/N standing with Yoongi preforming the wedding rituals together. She had a smile on her face and Yoongi looked happy as well. If i was stupid, I would have thought that they were a regular couple on their wedding day. That wasn't the case though.
Both of them had different reasons for this wedding. It was like they were in a agreement of disagreeing. Yoongi was marrying for his own personal gain but so was Y/N. They both needed each other to gain something that can't get on their own.
Ah, how could I forget. The Queen also had a plan of her own. In reality, Yoongi and Y/N are only pawns in her little game. This castle was completely twisted in every way possible. I have a feeling things are only going to get worse from here. Especially since that trip was planned.
I stared at Jimin and Hoseok. Two friends who would soon enter into a game of their own. I'm sure by now, they've already set up the board and are thinking of their first moves. This will be fun to watch.
I felt bad just standing here and knowing all of this. Of course, I brought this upon myself. I was the one who went looking for answers. I got what I wanted... But now what? Is this what I really wanted? I should have just stayed ignorant to all of this. Even I was in over my head. What would become of the kingdom if everyone succeeds in getting what they want. I feared for the future of the palace and the kingdom.
"Here they go."
We watched in silence as Yoongi and Y/N bowed to each other. The last thing to do was to drink from cup of wine and that would be it.
As they finished the last tradition, no one said anything. The only cheering that was happening was the cheering from the T.V. Everyone in the kitchen was silent. There was no clapping, no drinking, and no celebrating. In a way, we all understood the situation we were about to be put in.

"Don't worry Joo-seung... You'll see you son soon."
