Hyojin's P.O.V.
Being here was the best thing ever. I've seen pictures of this place but they were noting compared to the real thing. Everything was simply breathtaking. When we had found Mr. and Mrs. Lee, they rushed up towards the Grand Table. We were now waiting to be served. At least, I think that's what we were waiting for. Not being able to contain my curiosity, I leaned over and tapped Y/N on the shoulder.
"What are we waiting for?" I whispered.
"I think there's going to be some sort of speech... I'm not sure." She whispered back.
I sit back in my chair and wait. Hopefully it won't be much longer before we begin.
"Lady's and Gentlemen, May I present, His Royal Highness Min Yoongi!"
Multiple gasps were heard and everyone stood up and bowed. The whole room went silent as he entered the room. It wasn't every day the Prince would make an appearance. I couldn't believe it. I was in the same room as the Prince! My legs are going weak and I'm shaking. I really hope I can calm down.
"Please, take a seat." His voice rang throughout the room.
Everyone did as told. The prince stood at the top of the table and looked at everyone. Once they had gotten comfortable, he began to talk.
"I came here because I would like to properly thank you all. Your work will not be in vain... I will make sure of that. I will see to it that this will be the most successful Kingdom Harvest yet. Thank you and enjoy your meal."
He left just as quickly as he came. Murmurs could be heard in the room. Everyone was so surprised that the Prince had said thank you to them. I was still shaking from the experience. I looked over at Y/N and she seemed perfectly fine.
"Aren't you surprised? The Prince just visited us!"
She slowly shook her head and shrugged.
"We just saw him. We were in the same room as him when he gave the speech. I understand your excitement though." She replied.
I knew she didn't care much about news on the Royal Family, but this is too much. How could she not care that the Prince came here and thanked her? Well, not directly, but he still said thank you. I don't understand her...
Y/N's P.O.V.
BREATH. I NEED TO BREATH.
You hid your emotions well from Hyojin. You were so nervous when the Prince came in the room. He even said thank you! Sure, it wasn't direct but still. A thank you from a member of the Royal Family was ledJINdary. This was going on your resume for sure. Just thinking about all the jobs you could get was making you smile with joy. Your mother looked at your weirdly but went back to chatting with the person beside her. It was now time to start the meal.
Hyojin's P.O.V
I think its time to start. Waiters were serving soup and bread. Not knowing what to do, I waited and watched everyone else. Y/N looked just as nervous as me. Everyone began eating and I took that as a sign to eat too. Once we were done eating the soup, they brought out the next course. I was wondering how many courses we would eat, so I leaned over and asked Y/N. She answered and said that this was a four course meal. First soup, then salad, main dish, and finally dessert. I was just glad that it wasn't a five course meal. My stomach wouldn't be able to handle that. I lifted up my fork and began to eat my salad. Yum, there is noting better than a bowl of rabbit food. While I'm eating the salad, my eyes travel around the room. It had high ceiling and gold lining. This place was huge.
I mindlessly look at the servants until I see a familiar face. He looked familiar but I can't remember where I've seen him from. He was wearing a waiter suit with a small badge on the jacket. Although... Where would I have seen a waiter for the Grand Hall at? I've never been to the kingdom's capital, so I couldn't have seen him here. Maybe he just has one of those kind of faces. I dismiss the thought and continue eating.
