Y/N's P.O.V.

"Where's Hoseok when you need him... I know he should be at the doors to the room but how come he wasn't there when I went to look for him?"

You've been looking around the palace for a while in search of Hoseok. You wanted to tell him of your little discovery but he wasn't anywhere to be found. You played around with the small key in your hands wondering what you should do with it. You'd end up dropping it or forgetting it somewhere if you just kept holding it.

"Ugh, this place is so huge I think I could get lost in here."

"I know, right? Sometimes I find myself getting lost and I've lived here for years."

You turned around to see King Jang walking along the halls with his personal bodyguards. You bowed to him politely and smiled.

"So what is it that you're looking for? Maybe I could help you?"

"Oh I was just looking for someone. It's okay though, I wouldn't want to trouble you."

"Trust me, you're not troubling me in the slightest."

You tightened your grip on the key when you spoke up. "Actually, if you don't mind... Do you know where I could get a chain for a pendant?"

He though for a second and then smiled. "I do actually. Follow me."

He lead you down a couple halls and eventually you were going down a hall loaded with guards. Each of them bowed as King Jang passed. You continued to follow him until you reached the doors at the end of the hallway.

"In here is a bunch of necklaces and jewelry my wife used to wear. I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like in there." He said while opening the door for you. "Don't worry, it's been year's since she's worn any of these. Yeun-Sul doesn't want them either because they're not up to style."

You looked at his eyes and saw a wistful look in them.

"Has she passed...?" You asked softly.

He looked down at you and let out a laugh. "No, she hasn't. Yoongi didn't bother to tell you much about her did he?"

"If she didn't die then what happened to her?"

He sighed and looked into the jewelry room. "I let her find the happiness that she deserved. I'd give anything and everything just to she her smile. Even if it meant letting her go. Of course, if she ever decides to come back, we'll always welcome her with open arms. That''s just my wishful thinking though. Wishful thinking will always be my downfall."

You softly smiled at his words and walked in the room. There were jewels of all sorts scattered around the room along with other shiny accessories. You weren't looking for anything too fancy though. You went over to a bracelet holder and picked up a chain. It shimmered in the light as you held it up to look at it. There was no need to look at anything else. You took it off the holder and walked out of the room with it. King Jang closed the door behind you and nodded.

"If you need help with anything else, just find me and I'll get it done."

You thanked him before walking off to attach the key.

*,°*:.

"All done!"

It wasn't hard to clip it on to the chain but you were finally happy that you got something for the key.

You went to pull out the box and unlocked it. Carefully taking out the book, you set it to the side and closed the box.

"I don't wanna read in here... It's kinda gloomy. It wouldn't hurt to read this in that one room i found Yoongi in. I wonder if he'll be in there today?"

You quickly left the room and headed down to the sun room. Once you were there, you poked your head inside to take a peak.

No one was there.

Yoongi isn't here? Hmm... Wait I don't need him to read.

You shook you head and facepalmed yourself. Why did it matter that he wasn't there. In fact, it was better this way. He'd probably ask what you're reading. He does seem to like reading.

You sat down and got comfy.

"Dear Yoongi, if there's anything I want it's for you to find the person you love. By that I don't mean the person you 'think' you love, but the person you truly love. It'll be the one that you constantly think about. The one that'll make you stay awake for hours wondering if they love you back. You'll feel like you're on the top of the world when you realize they love you too. Just the though of losing them would hurt you. Sometimes I wish i could have married for love. I love your mother dearly but I realized something... She wanted a different thing to what I wanted. I tried to win her over by giving her everything I had... But I knew she couldn't love me back. Learn from my mistakes Yoongi. Don't go chasing someone who can't love you back. Some things are temporary, I want you to find your forever. Your always loving father."

You closed the book and sighed. Find the person he truly loves...

"I'm sorry to say this Your Majesty but he ended up marrying me... If you were still alive, what would you say to that?"

You looked around the room and went into your thoughts. Love... Is it something I can have too? Even though I'm married to Yoongi, could I fall in love?

A small image of you and Yoongi floated into your mind. You blushed and quickly dismissed the though. "Ha, me and Yoongi in love? He's all over Yeun-Sul so how could I ever compete with that. It's not like i'm trying to compete though. Am I? No, of course i'm not. He and Yeun-Sul can go throw their airplane for all I care."

You sat up on the couch and crossed your arms over your chest. Not in a million years would he like me. Falling in love is something I want... But with Yoongi? I'm not so sure about that.

A/N

I'm so jealous of everyone who has their cute little theme. And like some of you have really aesthetic titles for your reading lists that along with your theme and then there's me with my no theme random whatever. I want a theme too... If I did get a theme or something I wouldn't change my book covers cuz I don't got that many ideas in my empty brain 😂

I probably won't get a theme but it's nice to dream.

Heh that rhymed 😂

I LOVE YOU ALL 💜💜💜💜💜💜
