Secretary Kim SeokJin's P.O.V
I continued to read over the papers until I found what I was looking for. It was a profile on Y/N. Single child... Mother and father are both alive.
Just then the door opened and Namjoon came back in. My body tensed up but i shifted in my seat to make sure he couldn't see what I was looking at.
"I'm back! Yoongi said he was fine. I came back because I had almost forgotten something very very important."
"Which is?"
He smiled and slowly picked up a book.
"Behold! My very own copy of 'Being the king's Advisor'. I picked it up at a book store while I was in the city. It's a pretty good book Hyung... I think you'd like it."
"Sure, whatever. Make sure to close the door on your way out." I said waving him off. "I'll still be in the office for a while so don't worry about locking up tonight."
Namjoon held the book to his chest and smiled. "Thanks Hyung, you're the best!"
After he left, I must have looked and read over the documents for a long time. When I looked up, the sun was already starting to rise. Ah well, it's not like I haven't pulled an all nighter before. Although I'm getting concerned since I've been doing them more often.
Prince Yoongi's P.O.V.
"Ugh, the guest could be here any moment and she's still not here? Figures..."
"Calm down sweetie. Women take some time to get ready. Besides, it's your fault for not telling her earlier."
"I don't need to tell her. Jin already informed her that the guest were coming today. She should have prepared accordingly. If she can't even make it down to the main hall in time, what makes you think she can be good enough for a spot next to me?" I asked, glaring at my mother.
"If I didn't think so, why would I have chose her? Also speaking of Jin, you shouldn't ask him to do things all the time."
I scoffed. I can ask him to do whatever I want you have no rule over what I do and what I don't. As for the girl you're probably only thinking about your own personal gain. Ever since dad died, you've only did things for yourself while trying to make it seemed like you cared for me.
Suddenly we heard footsteps rushing down the hall. No doubt it was the girl and Jin.
"My apologies your Highness. We had a bit of a problem before we could head down. Be assured it's solved now."
"It's fine. The guest haven't arrived yet but they should be here very soon." She reassured Jin.
He led the girl to stand next to me. Seconds later and the door was opened. I plastered on my face smile and watched as the guest came in.
"Oh my! Look at my little Yoongi all grown up now!" The lady said while coming to embrace me. "You've grown so big and handsome! Your mother should be very very proud!"
My smile faltered as she squeezed the living daylights out of me.
"Lady Yi, how wonderful to see you." I said while gently prying her arms off me.
"Aera, let go of him. He's going to be the future king and not the little boy you knew." Her husband said while pulling her away.
"I know but its just been so long since I last seen him. Oh! Who's this? Is this the lovely lady your mother has been telling us about."
I looked to my side and saw the nervous expression on her face. It wasn't long before she was attacked by the hugging lady.
"I bet you feel so happy as to have caught Yoongi's eye! And to think that you were keeping it a secret and then suddenly busting into the press conference like that! It was all over the news in our Kingdom. Such a scoop for the reporters who were there I bet!"
She continued to blabber on about the subject. It wasn't until her husband decided to move her along that it was peaceful again. We continued to greet the guest that came until there were no more.
Jin announced that it was time for tea and led everyone to a different room. The only people left were me and the girl.
Y/N's P.O.V.
The prince looked at me and sighed.
"You know its rude to be late."
And its rude to threaten someone but look at us now.
"Sorry. Like Jin said we had a small... problem."
He nodded and began to walk off.
"Wait where are you going?" You asked.
The giant doors to the front of the palace opened as he got closer to them. He ignored your question and kept walking.
You sighed and ran to catch up to him.
"We're supposed to be walking not standing in the main hall talking." He said while rolling his eyes.
"Right, sorry."
There was an uncomfortable silence before he spoke up.
"What's your name?"
The sudden question took you by surprise. He doesn't even know name? I thought he knew...
"It's Y/N..."
"Y/N...? That's a weird name."
Does everything about me have to be weird to you?
"Well my parents thought it was a suitable name for me. What about your name? Wouldn't some people think it's weird?"
"No. People bow down to me when they hear my name. Even f they are my enemies; they'll eventually bow." He said holding his head up high.
"Right, well good for you then."
It was awkward for you to be walking with him. He was also intimidating but there was nothing you could do to leave. Walking with him was an order from the Queen.
"Why... Why did you help me?"
"What do you me- oh..."
You thought back to that day. Why did I help him? Was it because I was upset that Hyojin had left me and I wanted a distraction?
"You looked like you needed help and I was there. Not to mention the fact that you had grabbed me, an innocent bystander."
And just to think I got into this mess because of him. If anyone should be suffering, it should be him.
"Thank you."
He then grabbed my hand, kissed it, and left.
A/N
Not gonna lie I feel like this chapter was a bad one (._.')
Aside from that I hope you all had a good day! I love you all and I hope you're staying safe. Also while I was writing this I realized that this is chapter something (Idk what number this is and i'm too lazy to look) Yoongi still referred to Y/N as girl and I was just like OOF.
ANYWHO I LOVE YOU! *★,°*:.☆( ̄▽ ̄)/$:*.°★* 。
