Y/N's P.O.V.
Last night's dinner was a kind of success. The prince had only glared at you twice so it seemed good enough. Luckily, the Queen didn't bring up the wedding or anything like that. She mostly talked about the garden party.
You just so happened to be working on that now with Hyojin.
"You didn't check out the other gardens? What if they were better than this one?"
"Well, this one seemed to meet all the requirements for the party. Plus it's the closest for walking distance. This one is going to have to do."
She nodded and grabbed a list the Queen had given you.
"Uh, Y/N... It says here that you're supposed to meet someone for "Training". What's that supposed to mean?"
You grabbed the paper from her hands and looked at the list. Sure enough the words "Training - see Jin in the mini ballroom" were there.
"This place has a mini ballroom?" You mumbled.
Hyojin shrugged. "If there's a mini ballroom I'm guessing that there's a bigger ballroom around here."
You nodded and looked at the paper again. In the left margin, 2:40 was scribbled. You looked over at the clock on the wall and checked the time. It was 2:20 which gave you 20 minutes to find the mini ballroom.
"I should get going if I want to make it there on time. Jin's going to kill me if I'm late."
You got up off the bed and smoothed out your clothes. After saying goodbye to Hyojin, you left the room. As soon as you stepped into the halls, Jungkook followed behind you. You tried to ask him where the mini ballroom was but he didn't tell you. Eventually, you made up your mind to ask a servant passing by. She directed you the room and you were on your way.
After a couple turns, you stood before two large, closed doors. From the outside, you could hear music playing. You pushed the doors open and stepped inside. Jin was in the room looking at his tablet.
"Uh... My list told me I had to come here for training? What's that supposed to mean?"
"Training for how to act at these parties. I'm sure you've never been to a garden party before, so I'm here to train you." He said while setting his tablet down. "Also, the Queen has asked me to train you and the-"
He was cut off by the sound of the doors opening. They creaked loudly as they were forced open. Jimin and some other bodyguard walked in and stepped to the side. You stared at Jimin and sighed. If Jimin is here then that means one thing...
The prince walked in and looked around. You made eye contact with him but you looked away shyly. As he walked past you and towards Jin, you bowed. Jin did the same and greeted him warmly.
"Mother said you have something to tell me? Is it important or no?" He asked.
"Yes, but you might want to sit down for this."
Jimin pulled up a chair him and Jin grabbed one for you. As soon as you sat down, Jin let the floodgates open.
"The Queen has ordered that both of you should begin to act as a couple. Which means making public appearances together and openly stating your relationship with each other."
Prince Min's mouth dropped open in astonishment. You were speechless. Everything was silent.
"No. I refuse to do it. I will not pretend to want to be in a relationship with this woman! Tell mother that she is absolutely crazy if she thinks something like this will ever work out."
He proceeded to argue the whole thing with Jin but eventually stormed out. After they left, Jin rubbed his temples and took a deep breath.
"I swear, I'm going to get grey hairs because of him. Anyway, I might as well work on training you. We should get started."
You nodded and prepared yourself for his training.
Prince Min Yoongi's P.O.V.
If servants passing by me couldn't tell where I was going then they had to be new. As I was storming over to my mother's room, Jimin tried his best to calm me down.
"Sir, wouldn't it be best to listen to your mother this time? I mean it would be easier this way!"
"Jimin, if you think that I'm going to act like I like this woman, then you are surely mistaken. I want nothing to do with her and as soon as I get rid of her the better."
The door of my mother's office was in sight and straight ahead. Just as I was about to open the door, Jimin pulled me back by the shoulder.
"Yoongi think about this. If you spent time with the girl and learned about her then we could use it to get rid of her. Find out her weakness and what she cares about. If those things are put in danger she'll do anything to save them."
My fingers lifted off the doorknob and pulled back into a fist. My head slowly turned with interest.
"Could that really work?" I asked.
"I'll tell you more about it in your room. Trust me this could work. Plus... I have a plan."
Bodyguard Hoseok's P.O.V
"Well, your injuries aren't that bad. You will have trouble eating for a bit but as long as you don't take a hard blow, you should be fine."
"Thank you, Sir. I appreciate your services."
"It was nothing. Remember if you ever need help again, just call me. Now, get some rest Hoseok. You look like you'll need it."
I nodded and watched the doctor pack up and leave. He was a kind man and after a couple of days, I had befriended him.
The room was once again silent. Nothing but a breeze from an open window was making a sound. It looked like a nice day but I was stuck inside. I wanted nothing more than to get back to my job. At least my time here is giving me an opportunity to think of a good explanation without saying the whole truth to him...
Hopefully, this will make sense to you, Jimin.
