SELENA’S P.O.V

Saya pandai kebingungan dengan Holland’s expression… sekejap happy, sekejap sedih, tiba-tiba ketawa, tiba-tiba terdiam, tiba-tiba staring at me macam he’s gonna kiss me, tiba-tiba he's staring at me macam he’s allergic to me…

I thought I have issues… tapi gaya dia lagi parah dari saya yang biasa sudah didera ni, tambahan lagi I’ve lost both my parents…

When suddenly daddy si Jason Junior bersuara…

“it’s ok, Hol… my son is your son…”

Dan disusuli with his parents’ words of comfort…
“and you’ll have more sons in the future…”
“you need to let them go, Hol…”

Holland’s ‘I don’t intend to marry again…’ statement didn’t affect me… yang buat saya terkejut dan jantung saya berdegup kencang bila dia tiba-tiba menatap mata saya…

Saya tidak faham apa yang ada disebalik tatapan dia, but I felt hot flushes all over my body when I looked into his eyes…

Dan bila dia dan Sydney berperang mulut, bergegar juga saya rasa bila bapa dorang hit the table… ngam bah juga dorang kena rotan ni… hahahaha! kalah tu budak-budak gaya dorang… I’ve never been in this situation because I don’t have brothers… let alone siblings… my life before Aunty Vina and her family was calm, peaceful, quiet and lots of love… but never this happening…

“so Selena…” Angelarra’s sexy voice filled the air…

Saya tersentak dari lamunan saya… uh, Holland leaving to join the guys semestinya satu kelegaan bagi hati saya… my heart can beat normally now… by this time the kids dibawa oleh their nannies masuk dalam rumah sudah…

I looked at Angelarra with a smile…

“wait… saya confused ni…” Bella bersuara…

“kau ingat kau saja?” Holly menambah…

“you guys…” Kimmy lagi…

Then dengan tenangnya Holland’s mom slicing the salmon gracefully, chewing it elegantly… looked up at me…

“Holland is still grieving…” grieving? poor him… still grieving the divorce that he went through… “maybe you can add a little sunshine in his life?”

Me? sunshine in Holland’s life? why would he need sunshine in his life? the sun is always shining until dusk... blur bah saya dibuat oleh mom Holland ni tau...

Then it actually clicked in my mind...

I think his mom misunderstood… dia salah faham dan salah sangka bila Jason Junior tanya kalau saya ni girlfriend Holland…

“I’m sorry, aunty but I…” saya cuba memperbetulkan tanggapan dia…

“it’s ok…” smiling kindly… “sooner or later Holland needs a woman in his life…”

But I’m only a girl, not yet a woman…!

I’m not a woman… terus terlain hati saya… what if Holland really found a woman to replace his wife? a tall, beautiful, sexy and matured woman who can make him fall to his feet madly in love?

Macam hati saya terasa tercubit… macam… saya tidak dapat menerima apakan lagi mau membayangkan Holland sedang bercinta dengan wanita lain…

“mom…” Angelarra stood up and hugged Holland’s mom from behind and giggled… “Selena’s just 17…”

Uh… macamana dia tau saya 17? Oh… bini Sydney bah dia kan… so of course lah Sydney akan bagitau… Kimmy doesn’t look surprise either… bini London… memanglah…
