**SKIPPING TO THE DAY BEFORE TRAIL**
Anna's POV: it's been 3 days since eva got arrested. i told the girls already, they were as shocked as i was about this whole mess. right now i'm just sitting at the island drinking and trying to think of what i'm going to do tomorrow. sab is with cooper, so it's just me, dev, and emma
emma: you know, you really shouldn't be drinking before tomorrow
dev: or at all. dude you've been drinking for 3 days straight, you need to pull yourself together
me: what's the point? they wouldn't even believe me when i admitted so like fuck it
dev: well still pull yourself together, not only for yourself but for eva
me: do y'all believe me?
emma: you can't ask us that. plus i don't know what to believe. i don't want to believe you or eva
dev: yeah like what the fuck. how could y'all kill someone?? never thought of y'all would. ever.
me: but she didn't kill anyone. i did.
dev: yeah okay, i'm finna go get food for me and emma. you want anything?
me: i'm not hungry
dev: well i'm still bringing you something
she left and emma came to sit next to me. she saw me taking another sip and then took it away

me: you know i'm fucking tired of everyone saying "everything's gonna be okay"! how the fuck do y'all the urge to say that when eva's life is on the line. y'all don't even seem to care. so just stay the fuck outta my business!
emma: you don't think i care that eva might be going to prison?? and how are we supposed to care if you don't want us in your business which btw isn't just yours. she lives with all of us and we were all here when shit went down at the party. and also im not going down that easily so you don't get to push me or the girls away when your ass is depressed. you either talk to us and let us help you or we're talking to you. so pick one.
i started breaking down bc i can see where emma was coming from. i don't open up much which causes more problems
me: i just don't know what to do anymore. how did we start off so good and now this. i love her emma. i can't let them take her from me.
she came towards me and hugged me
emma: i know love. but so don't let them take her. you stay strong for tomorrow. learn what you gotta say or do and you do it. don't give up easily. alright?
me: yeah (wipes tears)
i was going to reach for the bottle but she grabbed my hand
emma: and no drinking. at least until we get this all figured out

i pulled her in for a tighter hug

we pulled away and looked at dev

me: (quietly laughs)
emma: what are you laughing about?
me: oh nothing. you get mad a lot

me: uh- bruh i thought we was coming at emma

me: (laughs) anyways how you back so fast?
dev: i'm fast. i get my shit done
me: mhm
she came over with the food, gave us all ours, and we ate
dev: so anna you ready for tomorrow?
me: can we please not talk about this? i'll get ready myself, but talking about it is pressuring it so let's not
emma: you're right
dev: see. anger. issues.
me: fuck you
dev: sooo y'all wanna watch movies after?
emma: yess
anna: you mean a movie?
dev: no. movies. with an s.
anna: shut the fuck up, y'all be asleep after one movie
dev: that's not true
emma: that's true
dev: bitch. anyways movies or what? we could like set up a big air bed for us
anna: yea, sure
dev: good cuz i was gonna do it anyways
we continued eating and finally finished after 15 mins. i helped the girl set up the bed and movies. we all got some pillows and blankets from our room and set everything up. i put the first movie in and we got comfortable. it was me, dev, and then emma. this was like a scary movie which i do but i don't like them. during the movie, we could hear the music getting louder and louder which something always happens when it does
dev: i can't look
she hid her face behind me
me: dev. get your hand off my ass.
dev: oh i didn't know it was there
me: mhm
the movie went on for 45 mins more then it was over. i got up to put the others in
me: which one y'all wanna watch nex-
i looked at them and they were asleep.
me: bitches.
i turned off the tv and laid back down. i got comfortable and just looked up at the ceiling. eva should be here. and she will tomorrow. i'll do whatever it takes for her to come home. god i miss her so much. i kept thinking on how i'm gonna do things but nothing popped up. i'll just freestyle it and hope it turns out good. i closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
