6 months later-

Yeon smiled brightly seeing the caller ID. Without wasting a second she accepted the call and saw Eunwoo's face show up.

It was around 3 in the morning for Yeon and Eunwoo could tell that she was exhausted. The eye bags forming below her eyes were enough to confirm it.

"How's your treatment going? You said that there were some side effects?" She asked with concern.

"Yeon-ah, you're exhausted. You don't have stay up till 3 just to call me everyday. You have college at 9 and have to go to the company. You barely have 5 hours to sleep!" Eunwoo ignored her question and started.

"It's fine! We've talked about this before."

"Jungkook said that you always sleep through class and even got a nosebleed yesterday! You should take care of yourself."

"That darn-Don't listen to what he says! I'm okay with less sleep. Now please stop talking about my sleeping schedule! We only call each other thrice a week so please let's not fight!"

They ended their call. Yeon looked at the time and sighed, 4:13 A.M.

She knew her sleeping schedule was fucked up and she needed to work in the company every day.

Her siblings were worried about her and she knew it very well.

She rubbed her head feeling exhausted and fell asleep right away.

Yeon smiled seeing the called ID like always but was confused. Eunwoo always video-called her but this time it was a voice call.

She accepted the call either way.

"Why are you voice calling? We could video call like always right?" She asked confused.

"I needed to say something. I don't think I can say while looking at you." Eunwoo's voice was heard but Yeon noticed something. His honey-like voice wasn't happy or cheerful like how it usually was, this time it was sad.

"What do you wanna say?"

She heard him sigh and take a deep breath, "Let's break up."

Yeon chuckled, "Are you pranking me?"

"I'm not. I'm serious." 

His voice was soft but it held seriousness

"W-what?"

"I'm breaking up with you."

"Why?"

She heard nothing for a few seconds. For a second she thought that he was just pranking her but his next words broke her heart.

"I don't want you to wait for me. I don't know when I'll come back so I want you to live without waiting for me."

Yeon's tears fell freely. His voice only held seriousness.

"Yah! Who are you tell me who to wait for and who not to! I have no problem waiting for you! I'm gonna pretend as though you didn't say anything!"

"But I'm serious! I could die and I don't want you wait to for me if I'm never gonna come back!"

"Listen here you asshole! You won't die and I'm gonna wait for you no matter what you say!"

"I'm still breaking up with you." He said and a beep was heard.

"Eunwoo? Eunwoo-ah? Yah! Cha Eunwoo!!"

She looked at her phone screen and saw that he ended the call.

Yeon immediately called him but she noticed that he blocked her number. She still called him multiple times but of course, no one answered her call.

She hugged her knees and cried out loudly.

She cried her heart out and felt a person hug her. She recognized the person's smell, it was her brother, Jungkook.

"Don't cry Yeonie. It's fine." He whispered soothingly with his sweet honey like voce and patted her back.

"H-he broke up with me. We promised to w-wait until h-he's back but he-"

Jungkook didn't say anything but rub her back rhythmically. He knew it.

But Yeon didn't know that it was Eunwoo who had called him and told him to comfort her.
