22: Ever Lasting Feelings

I was glad that nobody else was home when I got there cause I wanted to be alone and didn't feel like locking myself in my room or not even coming home.

Dad was at work and Blake's car wasn't in the driveway.

All alone is what I need.

I walked into the kitchen after I went upstairs to change. I wanted to get some snacks and jam out upstairs as much as I could before I wasn't alone anymore.

When I walked to the cabinet to look for some snacks, I found some gushers, Dorito's and brownies. I smiled as I hit the jackpot before grabbing a soda and practically running upstairs.

After I tossed my snacks on the bed, I walked to the drum set and sat down. I smiled as I held onto the sticks and spun them around my fingers as I was thinking of a song to play.

I stared at the wall across the room before hitting the drums and coming up with a song not a moment later. I smiled as I got into it and started playing a random song before I realized which one it was.

Jump by Van Halen was the song I was jamming out to.

I was smiling as I got lost in the music and started singing also as I was jamming. I was focused on nothing else but the drums in front of me and how much fun I was having.

After I was done, I smiled as I got up and grabbed the bag of Dorito's before opening them. I took a few out and ate them before thinking of another song.

I placed the bag down and got onto the drums as another song came to mind. I spun the sticks around in my hand as I started playing and smiling as I started singing.

"He was a skater boy, she said see you later boy. He wasn't good enough for her. She had a pretty face but her head was up in space. She needed to come back down the earth."

I smiled as I kept drumming and smiling and singing at the same time.

Getting lost in the music was something I always did. I kept singing and jamming out, feeling so much better than I did.

I let all the emotions, feelings and everything else I felt the last few days go away and I was finally at ease.

"Sorry girl but you missed out! Well, tough luck that girl's mine now and we are more than just good friends! This is how the story ends! Too bad that you couldn't see, see the woman that girl could be! There is more than meets the eye and I see the soul that is inside!"

I hit the drums before stopping and staring at the drum set for a moment before getting up and instantly stopping when I saw Blake standing in the doorway.

She stood there staring at me as I slowly placed the sticks down. I didn't know what to do as I stood there, waiting for her to say something but she wasn't.

"Um," She started as she stares at me. "I wanted to talk to you."

"I don't want to talk." I continued to look at her as I was walking to my bed. "I already know what it's about and I honestly don't want to talk."

She stood there and watched me as I grabbed the soda, opened it and chugged it down. I look over at her as she looks around for a moment before shutting the door behind her.

"Reagan.. we need to talk. Please. I will not let this go until we talk."

I stared at her before sitting on my bed. "Fine."

I saw her walk in front of me and stand there, looking down at me. "Last night.." She crossed her arms as she looks down at me. "what happened?"

"What do you mean?" I gave her a confused look. "You know what happened."
