"What is it with us!?! I almost get burnt extra crispy and you try to teach yourself how to fly by getting blown up!"  Zariah teases Horatio after he returns from a scene of a crime and gets caught in a explosion as she slides the tips of her fingers up and down his thigh then up the side of his body he chuckles then kisses her lips yes ladies and gentlemen Horatio and Zariah are once again slowly becoming a full blown couple.... no pun intended.... she now sleeps by his side every night as she had ever since the club fire for she couldn't handle the nightmares by herself and he couldn't stand hearing her screams flow through their house in the middle of the night and ever since she "gave in" and started laying next to him she had less and less nightmares.... "Ratio!"  she whispers softly his breath catches and his heart races at the sound of a nickname he hasn't heard in what feels like forever and his lips quickly meet hers again he feels her chuckle into his lips and he smiles "you really should get back to work!"  she says his smile grows as he wraps his arms around her and whispers "just a few more seconds!"  she replies with a smile "no that man needs you to be his hero! now go do it!"  he chuckles then kisses her lips one more time before walking away looking back at her smiling face for a few extra seconds before continuing on to go find the bomber who killed the tweaker.... that night Horatio borrows Caine and Zariah when he goes to find Chaz and she and the pup find a woman hiding under a dog house "Horatio!"  Zariah calls out "just a second!"  Horatio response as he stares Chaz in the eyes "try telling that to Caine!"  she calls out he chuckles his eyes widen then he rushes over to where she stands he sees her trying her best to hold up a poorly made dog house and Caine sniffing something that hid underneath it "she won't come out for me but she might be afraid of him.... or she could just be waiting for you!"  Zariah tells him ending with a tease he chuckles softly as he looks at her oddly then sees a shadow move then a pair of blue eyes stare up at him and he calmly helps the frightened woman up and Zariah lowers the dog house slowly as soon as the blonde woman was free of it "who put you in there?"  Horatio asks the frightened blonde woman "I tell you he'll kill me"  the woman replies her eyes darting from Horatio to Caine "ok I don't want you to worry about that right now tell me who put you in there"  Horatio says "so demanding!"  Zariah playfully whispers as she pets Caine's head Horatio chuckles "might want to start out with a name Ratio.... hers not....!"  Zariah says just then a few officers walk a fighting Chaz over to them and Horatio, the girl and Zariah look at the tweaker "hush!"  Zariah says softly as Caine growls a deep low dangerous growl at the man who now stares into Zariah's eyes with a smirk on his face "drop the smirk or lose what you never had!"  Zariah threatens darkly and Chaz's smile grows "ok.... don't say I didn't warn you!"  Zariah says she looks down at Caine who gets ready to lunge at him but stops when Horatio scolds with a amused tone "Zariah!"  Zariah smiles then pats Caine's head as she coos "good boy!.... that bag of air wouldn't have tasted all that good anyway!"  Horatio chuckles with a smile "well I guess I know all about you too"  Horatio tells Chaz "get him out of here!"  Zariah orders the officers nod and move Chaz away from the cage her, Caine, Horatio and the woman were in "we'll see you at home"  Zariah says softly Horatio smiles at her then feels her kiss his cheek before she and Caine walk away "gosh she's beautiful!"  he hears the woman at his side say he chuckles then replies with a smile "yes she is!".... a few hours later Zariah asks Horatio as she walks over to him and slides her hand over his shoulder "did you find out her name!?!"  he chuckles then replies with a smile "yes I did!"  she coos as she walks around him and slides her hand up the top half of his chest "she's a beautiful girl!"  he smiles and says "not as beautiful as you!"  he cups his hands along the bend of her knees and lifts her up so that her legs were bent along the sides of his chest as his lips meet hers then he carries her to their room and makes love to her then they fall asleep in one anothers arms this time he knew she was on birth control he remembers what she told him when she tried to explain why she couldn't find the courage to tell him she was pregnant "part of me didn't believe it!.... I didn't change HELL I didn't think I would ever do something like that with anyone other than those who forced it on me since I was 10!.... I told you I didn't think I was worthy but I wanted to try.... I wanted YOU so badly that it almost became a waking dream! when it became my reality I was living in a fantasy world for so long that I....! I.... I'm so sorry!"  she started to cry and he held her lightly and allowed her to let it out....
