After Horatio dealt with the boy who threatened to kill him by use of the Worldwide Web Zariah, her children and Caine rush over to him after the boy was brought into the Miami Dade Police Department Zariah's arms wrap around his neck and his children's arms wrap around his legs and he smiles then kisses her as he places his hands on his children's heads.... a week later Zariah stands with Horatio outside the courthouse as Kyle was being arraigned with his (Horatio) hand in hers Horatio was a bundle full of nerves as he waited to see what the verdict was he was also grateful his wife was at his side throughout the whole ordeal his eyes meet Kyle's as the young man was escorted out of the courthouse by a officer the blonde young man's eyes wandered over to Zariah and her and Horatio's entwined hands as he passes by them "have you, uh, told Kyle he's your son?"  Horatio and Zariah hear Frank ask as the newly appointed Sargant walks over to them "that's not exactly something you can spring on a frightened young man so simply Frank!.... besides who knows what his mother told him about the man he believes is his father and with him living so long without one no one can truly be sure how he'd take the news.... the young man's got enough on his mind as it is!"  Zariah replies "take a look at this crowd must be at least a hundred knuckleheads trying to get on television"  Frank says just then the crowd becomes louder as the others who were being arraigned with Kyle are brought out and Zariah squeezes Horatio's hand "¿Qué pasa? Hombres! 2 million dollars to whoever can bust me out"  one of the men says to all the people who surround him as he parades himself like he's all that and so much more "come on ah hey baby who's it going to be huh? you could be the lucky one 2 mill"  he says "Julio Rentoria thinks he's the modern Jesse James"  Frank tells Horatio and Zariah Horatio looks at his wife when he feels her let go of his hand "this.... cannot be good!"  she whispers softly "I agree"  Horatio replies as he realizes she let go of his hand just in case he needed to head off in a hurry "I'm glad I didn't bring Caine!"  she says he chuckles "I got two million whoever can break me out hey, y'all, come on 2 mil people who wants 2 million"  Julio says "I love you, Julio"  some blonde woman calls out Horatio chuckles when he sees Zariah roll her eyes at the girl "hoo!"  Julio says when he looks over at the blonde Zariah almost found her brain she rolled her eyes so far back into her head with his reaction and Horatio chuckles "Amy my name is Amy"  the blonde calls out "that.... wasn't smart!"  Zariah whispers "no it wasn't!"  Horatio agrees as Julio says to the girl before he walks onto the prison bus "Amy? oh Amelita look me up"  Zariah mutters under her breath "bust him out and he'll give you more than 2 million dollars!"  Horatio looks at her with a raised eyebrow she shrugs faking innocence and he chuckles then asks Frank "Frank you feel like taking a ride?"  Frank asks "on the bus?"  Horatio replies "yes it looks like the driver could use some help"  Zariah looks at her husband with a worried expression on her face and he smiles softly at her as Frank says "I'm on it"  then he walks away and heads towards then into the prison bus "you just gave them a extra target with extra incentive Ratio!"  Zariah whispers "he'll be fine!"  Horatio assures and her worry deepens which made him sad for he knew she was possibly right he feels Zariah kiss his cheek then watches as she walks away from him then turns to see Rebecca Nevins walk towards him once he was through talking with Rebecca he walks away and heads to find out where his wife "ran off" to he finds her at a nearby outdoor café bistro and chuckles with a smile when she asks "got time for coffee or are you still a tea drinker!?!"  then he walks over and sits next to her at the table she was sitting at and slides his hand over her thigh "you wouldn't secretly be British would you!?!"  she teasingly asks he chuckles then replies "I don't love tea that much!"  she laughs which makes him smile and he kisses her lips then sees a waiter bring over two plates of food and two drinks on a serving tray and sets them down before them Zariah thanks the waiter who bows slightly then walks away Horatio smiles at his wife as she takes a sip of her drink "what!?! I figured you were going to talk business and I got hungry!"  she asks he chuckles "besides you have to go back to work soon and I have to go pick up our children and I wanted to at least have lunch with you before you ran away from me!"  she says he smiles knowing that her ending words were only a joke/tease and he joins her in eating the meal she ordered for him and while they were eating Horatio hears Frank report through his police radio "India 2,100 315 two blocks east of the Biscayne Courthouse shots fired"  he shoots up from his seat kisses his wife's lips then rushes towards his vehicle as he answers the call.... Horatio got a surprise when he was bringing Kyle into Booking for Zariah walks into the Miami Dade Police Department with their children and pup "what are you doing here!?!"  Horatio asks her with a soft surprised tone "we came to make Trippy's headache worse but since he's not here maybe we'll go bug Paula.... if she's here!"  Zariah replies both Horatio and Kyle chuckle "nice haircut"  Zariah says to the young man who blushes then says with a sheepishly shy tone "thanks!"  she smiles at him then looks down at her children and says "we'll see daddy in a bit let's go visit Aunt Paula while we wait"  her children smile then allow her to lead them towards the elevator and Horatio and Kyle continue on their way to Booking.... "do you think he'll go after Amy?!"  Zariah asks Horatio after he was done helping Kyle he looks at her curiously "Julio's blonde Barbie lover!"  she says he chuckles she stands up walks over to him and whispers "you be careful okay?!"  he replies "always!"  he kisses her lips and walks away for he had to go back to work then she walks over to the reception desk where Paula was playing with her (Zariah) children and pup then lets them know they were headed back home and waves to Paula who waves back as Timothy and Deidra walk over to their mother with Caine at their side and the four of them head towards the elevator waving to Horatio who was watching them from the other end of the hallway and he waves back with a smile.... Horatio becomes frantically worried about Kyle when he finds out that the escaped convicts from this mornings court case knew that the young man is his son and when he finally rescues him he gains the second thing he has been waiting for all day the love of the rest of his family who rush out of the MDPD after the re-caught convicts that were being put on another prison bus heading back to prison were out of sight Zariah, Timothy, Deidra and Caine rush over and hug his legs (Timothy and Deidra) and neck (Zariah) and he gets a kiss from his wife on the lips and pup on his hand which makes him chuckle much to Horatio's surprise Zariah drives him to the prison before heading home once they get to the prison she nods her head towards the gate he turns his head kisses her lips and climbs out of the vehicle then walks over to the gate to see the man he made promise to protect his son do as he promised then walks back to the vehicle where his family waits climbs in and they drive away heading to the one place he truly wanted to be home with his family....
