Zariah got pulled over by Jake Berkeley and the first thing she did when she got out of the car was open the back door "what are you doing!?!"  Jake asks she turns to look at him and replies "I'm not leaving my kids in a hot car nor am I trusting them to YOU!"  then she turns back around and starts to remove her children from their carseats "call Ratio"  she says into her headset "now what are you doing!?!"  Jake asks "calling my husband!.... you should be grateful that I calmed my pup down or your face would look worse than it already does!"  she replies as she turns back around her children in her arms and pup at her side Jake chuckles then he hears her say into her phone "not only is Barkley a bad UC he's a even worse Homicide Detective!"  Jake says "hey!"  she looks into his eyes and says "why don't you tell Horatio what you THINK I've done Barkley!.... go on he can hear you!"  Jake's eyes widen then it comes to him why the sexy woman before him looks so familiar she was the woman who was standing by the Lieutenant after the case of his UC partners death was over and he was leaving the MDPD he clears his throat and says "the murder of Nick Townsend"  she replies sarcastically "a asshole I've only met once in passing!.... well then you should know I'll only allow Horatio and his team to process me and my children since I never leave home without them which I suppose would mean that they're my accomplices huh!?!"  even though he looked nervous Jake chuckles "you know what since I know you don't have carseats in that we'll meet you there!"  she tells him then she puts her kids back in their carseats and Caine jumps back into the vehicle "you can follow me if you want you know to make sure I go to the place I was heading anyway like I always do around lunch hour!"  she says to Jake as she shuts the door then walks around the front of her vehicle to the drivers side opens the door and climbs in then drives away Jake and the officer with him follow her in their police car and a amused chuckle flows out of Jake's lips as he watches the tail end of her vehicle drive away.... Horatio meets Zariah outside the Miami Dade Police Department she hands him their children and their doctor's report "Caine"  she calls out and her pup jogs over to her side "might as well have Calleigh process him too since he never leaves their side!"  she tells her husband who chuckles then kisses her lips and leads her inside Jake and his shadow of a officer following not too far behind.... Jake set Zariah free after Valera admits to committing his murder worried about his wife and children Horatio had them spend the day in his office "I don't want you getting in trouble!"  Zariah tells him "I don't want you to worry about it"   Horatio replies "distract you then!"  she teases he chuckles then kisses her lips "see!"  she says with a smile he chuckles then walks out of the room "we're going to need toys and blankets"  she tells him when he reaches the door he turns around and looks at her oddly "going to make a fort I'm not feeding them in front of a large studio audience!"  she tells him waving her hand towards the windowed wall he chuckles then says "I'll get you some"  then leaves.... Zariah and her children got a lot of visitors that day Calleigh, Eric, Ryan, Alex and Cooper each came and played with Timothy and Deidra during their breaks Horatio watched them through the windowed wall with a smile on his face.... "can't hide this one!"  Zariah tells Horatio a few hours later as he walks into his office he looks at her oddly "our popping in for a few minutes everyday is one thing but spending the whole day here that's something different entirely!"  she says he chuckles "yes I know you'll "take care of it"!"  he chuckles with a smile then replies "that I will!"  she chuckles shaking her head with a smile "you ready?!"  he asks she shakes her head he looks at her oddly "too much evidence to clean up!"  she says waving her hand at all the toys littering his office he chuckles then walks over and helps her clean up then picks up their daughter and she picks up their son and they walk out of his office hand in hand.... a month later Zariah asked Horatio to take a few hours off of work and when she saw the confused look on his face she tells him "I wanted to get some family pictures done.... they're almost a year old can you believe it!?!"  he smiles when he hears the excitement in her tone when she talked about how old their children are "I could schedule it for your lunch hour but you have to make sure you actually take that hour off!"  she says he chuckles then replies with a smile "alright"  she smiles god he'll never get tired of seeing that beautiful sight "when?!"  he asks "next week"  she says he nods with a smile then replies "okay"  she smiles then kisses his lips he wraps his arms around her and holds her for a few extra seconds then heads to the nursery when he hears their children cry letting them know they had woken up from a nap.... the day Zariah went to pick up Horatio for the family portraits she hands Eric a check "what's this!?!"  he asks with a smile "your sister's getting married buy her something nice and these two have a one year birthday party coming up so you could use it for that as well!"  she replies waving down to her children who are sitting in their stroller in front of her he looks down at the check and says "I can't except....! what do you mean my sisters getting married!?!"  she replies "yep her and Mac are coming down here to tie the knot I think she wants to outdo mine and Horatio's wedding and no I didn't tell her about your scammer issue!"  he chuckles "besides it isn't like it's blank and I got Ratio's permission.... it is HIS money after all and I dare you to try and tell him no!"  she tells him he laughs then says "alright alright!.... thank you!"  she smiles and replies "you're family Del and we take care of our own!"  he says with a smile "yes we do!"  she pats him on the shoulder then walks over to Horatio pushing the stroller in front of her and asks "you ready?!"  Horatio looks over at her and smiles "you know maybe I should ask Del to take the pictures that way he has a reason to take the check!"  she says they hear Eric laugh and Horatio smiles "what!?! with all the pictures you guys take at Crime Scenes you must be practically professionals by now!"  she adds Eric's laughter grows she shakes her head with a smile then takes Horatio's hand in hers he places his other hand on the stroller and they both push it towards the elevator together....
