Zariah once again slept in the spare room that used to be hers but Horatio was just glad to have them home what hurt though was that she stopped visiting the Crime Lab though after a very annoying Private Investigator started poking his large nose where it didn't belong he was kind of glad she didn't that doesn't mean he didn't miss it for he missed all the little moments that made a big impact in his world terribly and he hoped to gain them back and soon but he wasn't sure if he could she is just as much a protector as he is but she NEVER went as far as he did no matter what she ALWAYS found a different way unless it was absolutely necessary and at the time that he did it it wasn't part of him wished she came sooner and stopped him before he threw the first punch but she didn't make it till the third or fourth she saved HIM by stopping him for it could have ended so much worse he started to feel lonely like she was too far away from him and he felt like he would never get her back but she never kept their children away from him they still shared their duties as loving parents and yet she was closed off to him and he wanted to fix that but no date, romantic dinner, walk on the beach could ever fix what he did to her heart and soul shattering her till she was nothing but dust waiting for the wind to blow her away till there was nothing left of her but to him she is EVERYTHING her and their children are his universe, his galaxy, his North Star.... Horatio hears something hit something metal and he walks out of the Interrogation Room to see Zariah pulling back on Ron Saris' arm as his chest lays on a desk "don't EVER touch me again!!"  she growls into Saris' ear with a dangerous dark tone and he hears Ron chuckle "I wonder what your wife would think when she finds out you've been feeling up some woman!?!.... why would you marry a little girl like that anyway!?! is she really THAT easy!?!"  she asks as she pulls back even more on Ron's arm making it crack this time Ron's chuckle held a bit of pain in it "be grateful I ordered him to stand down he's been trained to protect!"  she tells him nodding towards Caine "now get out of here before I have you arrested!"  she says letting him go with a push "you can't do that!"  Ron says looking at her "are you kidding!?! I'm female all it takes is one tear and a story and I'll have officers lining up to be my hero.... shall we test it!?!"  she asks Ron smirks at her "ok.... let's see....!"  she says softly Horatio watches as a tear rolls down his wife's eyes and she turns to the nearest male officer and starts crying "officer, officer you have to help me this man.... he....! he....!"  Ron had a smile on his face until he realized what sort of state her clothes were in and he starts to become nervous and says "hey!.... I didn't....! you know what I'm just going to go!"  then he scurries out of the building Zariah smiles then says as she wipes her tears away with her knuckles "thanks Brad I haven't had that much fun in awhile and now I need to take a very hot shower!"  the officer chuckles then walks away his chuckling turns to laughter when he hears her whisper "god that was too easy!"  hearing the officers laughter she smiles then pets Caine's head and coos "good boy!"  her eyes meet Horatio and her smile drops then she walks away with Caine at her heels Horatio frowns at her departing figure.... "it's a really sad day when a woman can take care of herself huh!?!"  Zariah asks Julia when she hears the click of familiar heels behind her walk towards her "I don't know what you mean!"  Julia replies "of course you do! I dislocated your "husband"s arm when he tried to feel me up this morning after he spent some time with my husband! you may think you're smart and strong but deep down you're weak! I haven't been weak since I was a child and I never plan on being weak again! I will NEVER need a man to save me from my own problems which we both know you brought upon yourself!!.... your son wanted to give you a chance to show that you love him but all you're proving is that you NEED to have power over something since you have no power yourself! money can only get you so far and it usually ends up getting you dead!.... not that your life is worth anything! but it does have meaning it will ALWAYS have meaning!! and all you do is squander it away you're pissed Horatio didn't choose you when you should be grateful he wants to protect you despite all that you have done to him! he's smarter than you think and knows more than you realize he may forgive you but he will never forget and believe me when I tell you that is worse!"  Zariah says as she turns to face her then she walks away....
