After making sure Marisol, her father, the kids and pups made it to one of the safe houses Zariah helps Horatio and his team with their efforts to help others during Hurricane Anthony once the hurricane stopped she picked the pups back up and had them help Search and Rescue and look for any survivors that didn't make it to the shelters.... "Horatio someone's alive back here!"  Horatio hears Zariah call out and he rushes through the now empty house and into the backyard where he finds Zariah comforting a man who had a piece of a metal fence sticking through his chest "I don't think he's going to make it!"  she whispers softly once he reaches her "I've got him you go....!"  he starts then he sees that she's holding the man's hand and he smiles "Marty this is Ratio he's going to check out your....!"  Zariah starts "Ratio!?!"  Marty asks curiously she smiles and says "think Hamlet.... his friends call him H though if you think that's better, Hor is just horrible!.... maybe Hora.... no that's worse!.... Atio.... that's not half bad maybe I'll use that for my next pup!"  Horatio chuckles as he checks Marty's wound track "I've already told him I can't move him.... we need to find his wife!"  Zariah whispers to Horatio "we will! we will!"  Horatio whispers in reply as he takes her free hand in his and squeezes it "I promised I wouldn't leave him!"  she whispers Horatio smiles she feels Marty squeeze her hand and starts humming a lullaby as Marty takes his last few breaths his eyes never leaving hers the last thing Marty saw was her smiling softly at him Horatio hugs her to him as she slowly lowers the man's hand onto his chest "I.... I have to go I left the pups with Butch.... he must be exhausted!"  she says softly as she pulls herself out of his embrace he nods sadly then watches her walk away passing Yelina on her way out of the backyard.... while Horatio did his best to solve a murder Zariah gave Butch a break and took over the search with her pups.... "Ratio!"  Horatio hears a exhausted sounding Zariah call out happily as he stands staring into space in the Miami-Dade Police Department he turns to see three dogs and the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on rush towards him with a smile on her face then feels her hug his waist as she presses her body up against his and he feels her exhaustion flow out of her in waves she looks at him and sees him staring at her as though he can't believe what he's seeing and she becomes sad seeing her sadness Horatio cups her cheek in his hand and kisses her lips she looks behind him and sees WHO he was staring at and whispers with a smile "go ahead!"  he searches her then asks with a unsure tone "are you sure!?!"  she nods then replies "she's your family go take care of her!.... I'm going to go sit on one of the backless uncomfortable benches I'm exhausted!"  he chuckles then says with a smile "I can tell!"  he kisses her lips then whispers "thank you!"  she smiles and walks away he pets the pups then walks over to Yelina and asks if she would like some assistance with unboarding her house and he gets interrupted by a woman he assisted earlier with her evacuation once the woman leaves Yelina walks over to him and as they were talking he looks past her at Zariah who laid down and fell asleep on the bench she sat on with three pups laying beside her by the bench once Yelina walks away he walks over to Zariah and picks her up the pups who looked up at him as he walked over follow him out of the building....
